Foxy is truly a special restaurant, world class in every regard. From the impeccable table service by our friendly & attentive server Martine, to the incredible well-deserved Michelin rated cocktails by Sabrina, our experience was by far the best we've had in all of Montreal! Each & every dish is sourced locally, with immaculate attention to detail & you can truly taste the difference as each is kissed with the love of the wood fire. Every dish was truly perfection! I highly recommend the whole fish char if it's available. Also, order the New Delhi cocktail, it will be one of the best you've ever had.
The food was sublime, they get local ingredients from farmers & they said they get there fish from Montebello which I was very impressed about, & they are very close to getting there Michelin star, & there waiters were very extremely nice, & the service was great, & don't get me started on the atmosphere, & the fact that they cook all of there food on there charcoal is unique from other restaurants.
Good. worth a visit. small portions, be warned. 50$ for a literally 2 inch by 2 inch piece if fish was something. everything was very good though. amazing service.
Reserved seats at the bar & on arrival the hostess offered us seats at the bar or seats at the kitchen counter by the wood-fired oven, which we took. Bruno, our server was excellent, reviewing the menu & offering recommendations. We had the scallop crudo, feta & pita, endive salad, capellini pasta & the whole fish (sea bass). Each dish was delightful & we enjoyed them with white & red wine by the glass. The team at Foxy work hard & are clearly passionate about customers having an overall excellent experience . Merci à tous we have a wonderful evening
Loved the Foxy experience; great salad, seabass fish delicious 😋, the mushrooms yummy, dessert perfect with peaches. Loved the rose wine. Service is perfect, lots of details to help us choose 😁🤠🤩
The service was the highlight here - our waiter was attentive & made great recommendations. We had the fish, steak, ceviche, the flatbread, beef tartare. Everything was pretty good (perhaps on the salty side). Dessert was great. Everything is small plates so if you're hungry, plan accordingly. Overall, I would give a 4.5 if that was possible.

Every dish was outstanding - perfectly fresh seasonal vegetables (& some delicious meat & fish) balanced with sauces that added just the right amount of acidity, umami, etc. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. Atmosphere was exactly what we wanted - a bit dark, bit noisy, a bit busy, but not too much of any of those things. An altogether lovely meal out.
Rich indulgent dishes accompanied by fabulous wine menu. oysters served with home made smoky sauces. The lobster melange gave the ubiquitous shell fish a whole new look & taste & the hung steak melted into the unusual porcini mushroom butter. Daphne the mixilogist is as entertaining to talk to as to watch conjuring up bespoke cocktails designed to personal spirit taste. Smoky influenced decor, suggesting urban woodland perfectly complemented the dishes. Not cheap but if we had wanted cheap we would have gone to St Hubert's!
