Review Summary

Overall, reviews describe Bok as delivering delicious food with friendly, efficient service in a welcoming atmosphere and good value. Dishes frequently praised include jajangmyeon, tangsuyuk, jjamppong, and bingsu, especially the Biscoff bingsoo, along with jokbal and fried calamari, while a few notes point to inconsistencies such as fried rice being a bit moist or the black bean sauce not tasting fresh. The vibe is described as quick, comfortable, and inviting, and many comments suggest Bok stands out among Montreal's Korean spots for reliable quality and a broad drink selection, with several mentions of returning for combos like jajangmyeon with tangsuyuk and for trying the bingsu again.

Wow! Such an amazing experience! The food is very good. I was especially impressed by the bingsu!! By far, the best one we have tried (we had the Biscoff bingsu). We had the Spicy Jampong, the Jajang Noodles & the Tangsu pork with Lychee soju! Would definitely recommend!

We recently found this place in NDG, I really recommend it! The jajangmyeon & spicy jokbal were my favorites & the jjampong was really good too!

This is the restaurant in Canada that tastes the most similar to the food I've had in Korea! The sweet & sour pork is perfectly crispy & delicious, freshly fried to perfection. The jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle soup) has an incredibly flavorful broth, & the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) stays true to the basics-everything is on point. The prices are also reasonable, especially by Canadian standards.

Probably one of the worst Korean restaurants in Montreal. Food took almost an hour to come out. The tangsuyuk was way overcooked. The malatang & jjampong used pretty much the same soup. You have to pay an extra $4 just for meat in the soups. The Jjajangmyun was so bad, our kids refused to eat it. Only giving 2 stars because the one edible item was the spicy jokbal. Also the lettuce wasn't washed & had dirt all over it. Way overpriced for terrible food.

Love the food, the atmosphere & the service. Their 짜장면 is the best. The only problem is that they are far away from metro. Ordered gganpoong chicken for take out. The sour, sweet & the spicy flavors are balanced pretty well.

We came around 6:30pm & it was not too crowded. The staff was really kind & took our orders well. I ordered seafood 짬뽕 & it was delicious. It was not too spicy & there was a good amount of seafood. We also tried the fried pork chili & overall it was good. I recommend this place for people who want to try Korean style Chinese food!
