Review Summary

Overall, Restaurant Bok earns praise for consistently delicious Korean dishes with standout jajangmyeon, tangsuyuk, jjamppong, and a highly praised Biscoff bingsoo. Diners often note that the jajangmyeon with tangsuyuk combo is a favorite, while fried calamari and pork dishes are celebrated for crisp textures. Service is described as friendly and quick, though a few reviews mention occasional slow service or unprofessional staff. Some critiques point to items that could be improved, such as black bean sauce that tastes prepackaged and a vegetable japchae that is heavy on onions. Many diners consider it one of the best Korean meals in Montreal, offering good value and a broad drink selection, including chestnut makgeolli. Overall, the feedback portrays Restaurant Bok as a reliable, comforting option with beloved noodles and pork dishes that encourage repeat visits for the top combos and desserts.

Wow! Such an amazing experience! The food is very good. I was especially impressed by the bingsu!! By far, the best one we have tried (we had the Biscoff bingsu). We had the Spicy Jampong, the Jajang Noodles & the Tangsu pork with Lychee soju! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely food, jajangmyeon is quite frankly amazing. The fried pork is also really good. Their jjamppong could be better, it's just not as good as the other two.

Don't hesitate to come here. The food is absolutely amazing. The Jokbal is some of the best pork I've ever ate. The soups are also delicious, perfect for a quick lunch.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants! You won't find a better jjajangmyeon in town, the sauce & the noodles are done perfectly. Love the tangsu pork too, it's always freshly made, love the crisp & the texture. The taste is always consistent. Whenever I crave jjajangmyeon, this is the only place I go!

A gem in NDG, a small & cozy restaurant. Been here a few times & I have to say this is the BEST Tangsu Pork I've tried in the city. I have tried other Chinese & Korean restaurants with similar dishes, but nothing can beat this one. Pork feet was also to die for. Price is reasonable & staff are super friendly & nice. Portions are generous.

This is the restaurant in Canada that tastes the most similar to the food I've had in Korea! The sweet & sour pork is perfectly crispy & delicious, freshly fried to perfection. The jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle soup) has an incredibly flavorful broth, & the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) stays true to the basics-everything is on point. The prices are also reasonable, especially by Canadian standards.

We came around 6:30pm & it was not too crowded. The staff was really kind & took our orders well. I ordered seafood 짬뽕 & it was delicious. It was not too spicy & there was a good amount of seafood. We also tried the fried pork chili & overall it was good. I recommend this place for people who want to try Korean style Chinese food!

We left the restaurant with hefty food babies & dreaming of the next time we’ll be back for more.

The jajangmyeon is soooo good - the portions are large, the price is reasonable, & the chewy noodles go down so easily with the thick sauce.
The Tangsu pork was the first for us, but we were shocked by how light & crispy the batter was.

Shout out to our very considerate waiter who came running out with an apron when he saw me struggling to eat my extremely saucy meal in a white dress.
