We ordered set3 which contained 2 jjampong & 1 tangsu that was $40. Then she said we can change it to seafood jjampongs so I said yes cause why not. What we got was the smallest & stinkiest mussel i ever had with some extra squid piece & shrimps. But I still thought that's fine cuz $40 for these dishes is still very cheap in my standard. Then when we paid, she charged me as separate dishes rather than a set, costing extra $10. Never mentioned adding some rotten seafood will make the price like that. Would give 5 stars if they didnt ask to change order bro like what are you doing??

Terrible experience. We waited over an hour without getting food & eventually had to leave.

At least 20min after we ordered, we were told the jajangmyeon sauce needed to be remade & would take at least 30 more minutes, so we switched to fried rice. One of us ordered fried rice initially & we were told it would be quicker. Even after 40-50 minutes, not a single plate of fried rice arrived.

The large tangsuyuk we shared (the only food that arrived ) was also mostly batter with very small pieces of meat.

Service was basically nonexistent-only one server. We saw several uncleared tables when we arrived, & she frequently disappeared. She explained that it was because they were busy, but there were only 3 tables at that time (~10 ppl). Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

Absolutely one of Montreal's best-kept secrets!

BOK has become one of our family's favourite restaurants. The food is consistently excellent, but what really makes this place special is the staff. They are always incredibly welcoming, attentive, & amazing with our family.

My toddler absolutely loves coming here, & as a parent, it makes such a difference when a restaurant makes children feel genuinely welcome instead of simply tolerated.

Great food, great atmosphere, & outstanding service every single time. If you haven't discovered BOK yet, you're missing out. A true hidden gem in Montreal that we're always happy to come back to!

We ordered Set 1 with the large Tangsuyuk, & it was enough to fill two people. The Tangsuyuk was delicious. However, the jajangmyeon was quite disappointing. The sauce lacked depth, & the overall flavor was rather bland.

Delicious foods! Their jjajangmyeon is definitely among the top in the city for those who love the dish. This restaurant attracts many Koreans. Even the waiter bowed down to my wife as he handed her one single hand towel with both his hands (only to her, not me, I wiped with my tongue & hands). Legit!

Authentic Korean style Chinese cuisine. Joonghwa Yori! No compromise. We parked on metered street but it was said that the restaurant offers parking space behind the store.

It was a huge group that dined in last for a birthday celebration. 9 including kids & we had a reservation at 6pm. I was the only asian on the table (this will be significant later on).

⭐? Jajjang Lux I never tried it but it was really good
⭐? The vibesa & layout of the place is fantastic

that is why i gave 2 stars. HOWEVER -

❌Service was EXTREMELY SLOW. It took you 2 HOURS to serve us. Server wrote down our orders but still missed on some. What's the point?
❌There were guests who arrived later than us but got served first?? One table you were drinking & sitting with? While we wrinkle & waited for our food?! PREPOSTEROUS.
❌The restaurant was packed! Good for business eh? But most of them were koreans. They got served first, except for your friends' table that you just had a toast with. Was our table purposely left out because we are not koreans?

In spite of all this I still left a tip. I don't thnk you deserve it, honestly.
