Great food & great service by Evan! Every dish was well thought out, & they were very accommodating for my vegetarian wife. The flan is amazing as well.View more

Was not sure what to expect from Beba, but had an amazing time.
It is tapas style, where it is recommended to share all the plates, though they do have larger plates that you could order as a main.
We had empanadas, chicken wing terrine, steak ham, salad, japanese white fish, homemade pasta & trout (for 4 peoole). Everything we ate was delicious, I would say the chicken wing terrine was the least impressive, it tasted more like a chicken/mushroom soup terrine, but was still very much delicious. The empanadas were very good, especially the aoli it was served with.
They have an extensive wine list, though we had cocktails. They were all delicious, especially the mocktail.
Our server Evan was delightful, ensuring we didn't order too much or too little & that all plates were brought out in a tasty order.
A great experience & I would definitely go back.View more
Really miss Piquillo.
Beba, Small menu, only 3 mains & 2/3 were $55.
Rest were tapas $14 to about $25.
The Brussels sprouts were charred & served in an intense vinegary sauce. Shame that there was no vegetable taste, just burnt & vinegar.
Trout roe was good, served on a flatbread that was a bit too thick. A crepe would be more delicate.
The grilled Calmar & pork cheek was ok. Calmar was way overcooked, burnt in some places. Pork cheek appeared to be confit, tender but dry. Only a couple of bites so still hungry.
The worst was the loud reggae music. Not the right vibe at all for a supposedly upmarket cocktail & tapas place.
