1. Montadito - $28
Two slices of mackerel with a touch of salted butter for richness. The sesame-topped bread feels like a mini bagel. A mild spicy kick from the horseradish. Worth a try!
2. Tagliatelle - $33
Italian wide noodles served with tender guinea fowl ragu & Parmigiano Reggiano. Savory, rich, & a nice fusion of French & Italian flavors. Slightly on the salty side.
3. Macreuse de boeuf - $85
Lean yet tender flat iron steak, served with morels & potatoes. The charcutière sauce, with its mustardy, savory flavor, really hits the spot-especially for a Chinese palate. Are those bits of cured meat & pork jelly in the sauce? Feels like a chef's hidden masterpiece 🔍
4. Flan - $13
Classic caramel flan topped with whipped cream & dulce de leche (tastes a bit like Werther's candy). The caramel is noticeably bitter, & the texture is thick & dense. A single bite is super smooth. A bit too sweet for me personally, but I'd still recommend trying it!View more
As foodies who try a variety of different restaurants, Beba is our favourite of all time. My partner is Argentinian & loved every single dish we ordered, gladly pleased to recognize the flavours of his culture. Service is also incredibly welcoming, warm & authentic. We recommend this place to everyone we meet !View more
Perfect execution - tasty food that isn't pretentious. We loved every dish & every bite. Highly recommend!View more
Food was amazing, the waiter Mikael was really nice & very informative. He helped us pick the right foods & pair it with the right wine. Would highly recommend.View more
I really wanted to go there but was still skeptical because the food on the photos & with their description didn't seem as fabulous as their ranking + reviews would suggest. Oh was I wrong, we took the 3 appetizers on the menu (caviar, mackerel & involtini) & they were all amazing. Only sidenote would be that there were pieces of rock like substance in my involtini & they told me they would subtract it from the receipt but didn't. The main course more than made up for it. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE PASTA. Their lamb ragu is amazing & their pasta is better than in Italy (I kid you not). For dessert we had the semifreddo & even though I'm not a big fan of pistachio this was amazing. I recommend for a special event 👌View more
Literally THE best culinary experience ever. Truly outstanding. Food was immaculate, service was unmatched. We went with our infant & they were so kind & accommodating. We will 100% return & recommend.View more

Creative & very satisfying Italian food. Would recommend!!View more
Really surprised to see the reviews re. service; we came here a few weeks ago & found the service absolutely exquisite. The bartender (Kathleen?) was super sweet (she suggested'Pisco
Sours' with a splash of passionfruit, which were phenomenal) & Marie -Eve was engaging & attentive, constantly topping up our glasses, making sure the table was wiped after each service, getting our coats whenever we wanted to smoke. She took time to explain how each item was prepared & the source of the ingredients- which made us want to try every last thing on the menu, a truly enthusiastic presentation. We felt pampered the whole time we were there by a warm & welcoming staff who clearly take pride in their work & are passionate about the dishes & vibe they create. Ambiance/seating/lighting was chill & comforting. Highly recommend the mackerel-bagel-fusion dish & pheasant with fava beans. We had a superb time🤍View more
Basically the best restaurant in Montreal. The food is always on point with amazing top quality ingredients. The service is friendly, the drinks & wine recs always hit the spot & the atmosphere is super cozy. We recommend this place to everyone we know.View more
Quiant little French restaurant in Verdun which services rustic Quebecois dishes. Recommend the Mackeral & Knish. Some of the dishes like empanadas & pastas appear to be seasonal so be sure to check menu in advance. Restaurant is small & lively, reservations are highly recommend.View more
What a little gem. The food & service were incredible & strongly recommend to anyone looking to discover new & delicious flavours. Make sure to speak with your waitress as not all items are listed on the menu.View more
Fantastic food & just about the best bar service I've ever experienced. Can't recommend enough.View more
Truly a must in Montreal - very deserving of its position in Canada's top 100 restaurants. We were greated by an attentive waiter who we later learned was co-owner Pablo Schor. He made us feel like family. I have a fairly detailed list of allergies which he took care of professionally & definitively - I was able to taste most items on the menu thanks to his input & help. A truly wonderful overall experience thanks to the quality of the food, service & general vibes. 10/10 do wholly recommend!View more
the food: super good especially this duck, traditional style, super tasty as if you had a meal made by your grandmother ... really I recommend 5/5View more
Loved the food, specially the bone marrow. We went there for our anniversary & we would highly recommendView more
TLDR: great service, good idea but food was mostly bland, undercooked, & absurdly portioned. For context I live in NYC & am used to expensive small plate restaurants. I am genuinely confused at how this place can defend some of the dishes. Overall, the idea behind the menu is nice, but the food was very one-note, lacked seasoning, but was also very very rich & buttery. 1. The asparagus dish was $26 for exactly two stalks of asparagus & hollandaise sauce. 2. The knish was bland & the bite lacked flavour. 3. The beef ham was bland & extremely underwhelming. 4. The guinea fowl was completely undercooked, with visibly raw parts. I took it to go & cooked it in a pan the next day. The zucchini involtini & pistachio dessert were great. Also, the service was lovely. I love how they have the servers explain each dish. Maybe I came on an off night, but I can't recommend this place at all unfortunately.View more
Michelin Stars will be calling out its name - Beba - oooooommmmmmgggg- I had to write this as soon as I came home !!! At tonight's dinner the 4 of us are very very seasoned foodies & we all agreed that this dinner was absolutely more than outstanding -Each & every dish was exquisitely prepared with the very finest & freshest of ingredients - From the duck confit on a bed of fresh tagliatelle to the grilled octopus to the chocolate valhrona tart topped with roasted hazel nuts - it was all sublime - The cocktails were refreshingly delicious - All of the above was complimented with very warm, attentive & impeccable service - Camille explained everything on the menu & Evan definitely mixed love into our drinks - they took great care of us - every detail was addressed seamlessly . You feel & see a very cohesive team impassioned with their work from the chefs to the serving staff . I will joyfully & unhesitatingly recommend this to friends & families as will our friends that joined us this evening ❤️View more
We had a wonderful dinner here on the patio! The food was great but the service was even better. Evan did a wonderful job & was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He was super kind & made us feel relaxed & comfortable. The cocktails were also excellent! I am gluten free & they were also very accommodating for this. Overall it was a great night & I highly recommend!View more
I enjoyed this menu a lot. The food was nice & I would like to try more dishes. I liked the service. Recommend this for a table of two or four. Small & cozyView more
We visited Montreal for a long weekend & this was to be our "big dinner" out. We were please to get reservation for a Sunday evening. The staff was quick to get us seated. The staff was very pleasant & it was great to see the chef working closely with the others, providing feedback & plating. The menu was thoroughly & expertly explained. We ended up getting the empanada, mackerel, radicchio salad, & fluke. I had the fallback cocktail which was very nice. My wife ordered the vermouth & olives as it reminded us of a trip to Barcelona. That was fantastic & we ended up ordering another round of these. The empanada was okay, but that was it. I've easily had better at farm markets & home. We must have missed where it said the mackerel was "lightly cured". My wife is not a fan of uncooked food but she choked down what she could. It thought it was okay. It was slightly fishy but well prepared & the sesame bun on which it sat was good. The radicchio salad was excellent & was possibly the best dish of the evening. The dressing was perfect in taste & coverage. The hostess suggested a smaller version of this salad based on what we ordered which was ample & much appreciated. The fluke was also excellent & I would definitely recommend it. The whelks, clams & fish were delicious, as was the pasta it was with. Service was spotty. The empanada came out pretty fast. The mackerel followed shortly after. We then waited for probably 30 minutes. Our salad sat on the counter for almost half of that, & was then served at the same time as the fluke. When we ordered our second round of drinks the bartender was nowhere to be seen. It took 20+ minutes to get two vermouth & olives. We were quite full at the end of meal & skipped dessert. We were just over 2 hours & $160 into the meal & honestly just wanted to get going. We were not rushed in way. Communication would have been ideal during the waits. Overall we weren't that impressed & left a little disappointed given the time & money spent. We're still glad we went but would most definitely find something else on our next visit.View more
I have nothing negative to say about my experience last night. From the moment we walked in to the moment we stepped out, the service & overall culinary experience was unparalleled. We ordered the Guinea fowl liver tagliatelle, the mackerel, the homemade coppa & the rabbit. Their seasonal menu is not for those with close-minded palates. The combination of flavours was incredible & we were treated like royalty. The cocktails were also made to perfection. Would highly recommend for those who are looking for a funky & delicious meal!
Beba... One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal! The service is impeccable. The food was excellent. The veal breast was a standout, perfectly prepared & bursting with flavor. The flan was a delightful finale to our meal, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommend for a unique culinary journey! 👌🍽️View more
We had to chance to dine at this lovely restaurant for our anniversary. Really loved our experience, especially with the excellent service from the waiter staff who made sure to put a lot of attention. The food was of great quality & we definitely enjoyed our meal. The beef cheek was amazingly tender & the empanada was definitely the best one we've had so far. Would definitely recommendView more
Excellent food & service. Not cheap but great value & quality for money. Highly recommend.View more
From the service to the food, this place was excellent. Went above & beyond my expectations. Would recommend the mushrooms as a starter/side as well as the beef tongue.View more
I recently dined at Restaurant Beba & had a mixed experience. The food was pretty good with decent flavors & presentation, but I felt it was a bit too expensive for what it offered. On a positive note, the service was nice - the staff were attentive & friendly. However, there were moments when the staff engaged in conversation a bit too much, which some diners might find excessive. I didn't try the drinks myself, but my friends who did were quite impressed. They mentioned that the drinks were one of the highlights of their evening. So, if you're into cocktails or specialty beverages, this might be a great place for you. Overall, the staff were friendly & the atmosphere was welcoming. While I appreciated the quality of the food, I believe it could be priced more appropriately. Would recommend for a nice evening out, especially if you're keen on trying some unique drinks.View more
Amazing restaurant. The best table in Verdun & one of the best in Montreal. Very small restaurant with a good vibe. Food & staff are both amazing. Strongly recommend.View more

Easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in all my years in Montréal! The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance lovely, & the service top notch. Shoutout to Evan, our server, who treated us with such care & was so fun & kind as well!
