I had a wonderful dinner at Beba to celebrate my friend's birthday, & it was truly a memorable experience.
Every dish was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, & beautifully presented.
The open kitchen added an engaging element to the dining experience & made the evening even more enjoyable.
With its excellent food & warm, welcoming service, Beba made our evening feel truly special!

De mon côté le mosquito, ok il y avait du gingembre donc tu t'attends à un peu d'épices mais là, après trois quatre gorgées mes papilles ont fait grève… plus personne. Soyez subtiles dans vos mélanges !!
Les deux premiers amusés bouches parfaits, on passe aux plats intermédiaires, le jambon de boeuf avec olives & piment ouais pas mal mais 34$$, un peu bout de pain maison un peu grillé avec une belle huile d'olive & le plat aurait été parfait.
Les pâtes avec les petits calamars japonais manquaient de cuisson & auraient étaient bien meilleurs plus saisis.
Par contre pourquoi encore rajouté du piment !!!
Pour le reste placés à l'entrée avec l'enceinte au dessus de la tête… on avait du mal à se parler.
On sort pas souvent, on pensait se faire un bon resto en amoureux, bah c'est manqué!
Soyez plus généreux sur les portions & restez simples sur les recettes.

It was our first time at Beba & we had a lovely night. Cute date spot. Definitely a place to go as a pair & not group (at least for me). We had the tasting menu, which was 5 courses. The plates & quantities are small but with 5 courses we were very satisfied. We started with a dirty martini which they made perfectly & the sommelier helped us choose a good bottle of white. Our favorite dishes were the Montadito & the foie gras stuffed dates. The fish was delicious too. We later regretted opting out of the Oso bucco since the tables around us got it & it looked so good. But that's just over indulgence !Service was excellent. Loved the environment & space, it really gave cozy small Brooklyn vibes with moderate volume Brazilian music playing in the back .Overall a lovely experience, I would for sure go back.

Very good food but pricey & tiny dishes. I miss the empanadas.
Wine choice can be improved, same for sparkling wine/champagne. Dessert wine is a must.
Awesome service!
The experience was terrible. The food wasn't good & definitely not worth the price. The service was also poor - the woman who served us was quite rude.
I honestly don't understand why this place has such a high rating.

Really delicious starters with unusual flavours. Unfortunately the bollo misto, the star dish, was a real disappointment as the predominant flavour was the salty gravy.
We had a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, & the attention to detail in every dish really stood out. Our waitress was fantastic & made excellent suggestions, including recommending half portions for two of our dishes, which ended up being the perfect amount. We were very happy with our experience.

Super racist restaurant & staff.
They make black people feel like second class citizens.
I went once, they told me they had no table for me. Yet, they were making space for white clients.
In another instance, my girlfriend made reservations & they made her wait & barely acknowledged her.
Again, white clients, with no reservations, were given the red carpet treatment.
Unfortunately for them, my girlfriend & I know enough people to give them a very bad reputation.
& this is exactly what I intend to do.
I enjoyed the appetizer, especially the mackerel that everyone talks about. The blend of different ingredients meshed together very well, & they were fresh & you can tell each ingredients are carefully picked. Main course is somewhat less interesting.
One thing is though, I called specifically to ask for a spot away from the bathroom & they put us right in front of the staff bathroom with a lot of traffic & I had look at the toilet over 10 times during our meal which was very unappetizing.
We enjoyed a superlative experience at Beba. The service, atmosphere, & food all added up for a very speical night. Every dish was unqiue & very well composed. The dates with foie gras will live on in our memory, & we will absolutely return to Beba when my wallet can withstand. Kudos to the sound system, well placed sound panels so its not to loud in there, & a great playlist that set the vibe. Music can be overlooked in some places, but no so at Beba - they clearly put time & energy into getting the sound right so that it makes the mood. Great restaurant!
