Nous y sommes allés avec ma soeur pour nos anniversaires accompagnées de nos parents.
Les plats sont fins & savoureux, la cuisine a vraiment surpassé nos attentes.
Le service par contre était décevant. La serveuse était condescendante & se regardait dans le miroir en nous parlant.
Nous avons aussi remarqué un manque de transparence au niveau des prix. Le nombre de portions par plat n'est pas indiqué sur le menu & elles ont été doublées (même quadruplées) sans nous avertir préalablement. Le budget n'était pas un problème & nous avons mangé à notre faim, mais il nous semble que nous aurions du être avertis.
Je recommande ce restaurant, mais je vous souhaite de tomber sur une serveuse plus agréable. Les autres employés étaient fort sympathiques!
Amazing restaurant. The best table in Verdun & one of the best in Montreal. Very small with a good vibe. Food & staff are both fantastic. Strongly recommend.
My boyfriend & I went to Beba for the first time & we loved our experience! Everything was delicious, fresh & the waitresses were absolutely lovely! We both loved the empanadas so much & thought we could simply come back to order these! Definitely recommend the restaurant!
Excellent restaurant. Probably the best in Montreal & in Canada. Mackerel & beef tartare is out of this world. Our waitress was exceptional & service was overall incredible,. Highly recommend.
Along with my sister-in-law, we celebrated my husband's birthday at Beba. Everything from the wine suggestion, to the food, to the service, was impeccable. Everything that we ate & drank was delicious. The food was top notch. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. We three left satiated & happy. Highly recommended!
Wonderful meal & experience. The restaurant is small & charming, like an old school bistro in Europe. Great music soundtrack of old standards played at a volume that allowed for easy conversation. The food was excellent & plates are to be shared; knish with caviar, confit Cornish game hen over a bed of buttery veggies, tagliatelle pasta in a game hen w/offal ragu & an amazing flan for dessert. We were very full & satisfied! Highly recommended!
My partner & I had such an amazing experience at Beba! The customer service was phenomenal! The food was excellent & the staff were wonderful! They were attentive, knowledgeable & friendly. They provided great recommendations from the menu & always checked-in on us. As mentioned above, the food was excellent! It had different flavours but were not overpowering each other. Would come back here again & I highly recommend this place to anyone who is going to Montreal.

Every time I go, I'm reminded why it's one of my favourite spots in Montreal. The service is always warm, attentive, & effortless - you really feel taken care of. The food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish is thoughtful, balanced, & packed with flavour. You can tell there's passion behind everything that comes out of the kitchen.
The ambiance is just right - lively but intimate, with that easy charm that makes you want to stay all night. Whether it's for a special occasion or just a mid-week dinner, Beba somehow makes it feel like both.
Highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food, genuine hospitality, & a place that truly gets it right.
We had a fantastic dinner at Restaurant Beba. The food, drinks, service, & ambiance were all superb. The knish w/caviar was of course great. But, the mantadito w/mackerel was fantastic. Next, we had the roasted maitake mushroom w/tallegio dish, which was super interesting & unique. The radicchio & escarole salad was perfect, as others have noted. & our bigger dish was the bacalao w/clams & octopus in a light tomato (?) sauce. It was spectacular. We sat at the bar & had the good fortune of meeting & being taken care of by Pablo, the co-owner, who was lovely! But, all the servers were sweet, caring, & always there for whatever you needed.
We loved the very relaxed & chill atmosphere, including the fun music. This is NOT a stuffy place. It was relaxed & lovely, but everything was done faultlessly. Highly recommend.
Our dinner at Beba was an absolute delight, largely thanks to our incredible server, Evan. From the moment we sat down until the handshake at the end of our meal, his attentiveness was unmatched.
Evan walked us through the entire menu, passionately describing each dish & offering his personal favorites, which did not disappoint!
The food was 100% fantastic. We ordered the montadito, maitake, spaghetti, lapón, & steak, & every single plate was a winner. Beyond the amazing meal, Evan was kind enough to share recommendations for other local spots to check out during our time in Montreal.
We are so happy we had him as our server; he truly made our night enjoyable & memorable. We can't recommend Beba, & especially Evan, enough!
Incredible experience dining at Beba. We were recommended by a friend back in Winnipeg. The service was excellent, glasses were never empty, plates & cutlery were always fresh. Great wine selection & the staff are complete professionals, they explain every dish you order in great detail. The food is fantastic, we ordered the knish, involtini, spaghetti & the mushrooms. dessert was the famous flan. Would recommend everyone staying in Montreal to visit beba
The food was absolutely delicious. The small bites, like the savory fish on the sesame rice cakes (or whatever that incredible appetizer was!), were perfectly crafted.
Beyond the delicious food, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely welcoming, making the whole dining experience feel special.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal paired with a fantastic atmosphere & first-rate service!

Read reviews & it sounded great. Food was excellent- well prepared & seasoned. Goat ragu & sweetbreads were outstanding. It is quite pricey- we had 3 small dishes & one larger plus 2 cocktails & 2 glasses of wine for 2 was over 300 Canadian with tax & tip. Neighoirhood is funky. Would recommend for special occassions.
1. Montadito - $28
Two slices of mackerel with a touch of salted butter for richness. The sesame-topped bread feels like a mini bagel. A mild spicy kick from the horseradish. Worth a try!
2. Tagliatelle - $33
Italian wide noodles served with tender guinea fowl ragu & Parmigiano Reggiano. Savory, rich, & a nice fusion of French & Italian flavors. Slightly on the salty side.
3. Macreuse de boeuf - $85
Lean yet tender flat iron steak, served with morels & potatoes. The charcutière sauce, with its mustardy, savory flavor, really hits the spot-especially for a Chinese palate. Are those bits of cured meat & pork jelly in the sauce? Feels like a chef's hidden masterpiece 🔍
4. Flan - $13
Classic caramel flan topped with whipped cream & dulce de leche (tastes a bit like Werther's candy). The caramel is noticeably bitter, & the texture is thick & dense. A single bite is super smooth. A bit too sweet for me personally, but I'd still recommend trying it!
As foodies who try a variety of different restaurants, Beba is our favourite of all time. My partner is Argentinian & loved every single dish we ordered, gladly pleased to recognize the flavours of his culture. Service is also incredibly welcoming, warm & authentic. We recommend this place to everyone we meet !

Food was amazing, the waiter Mikael was really nice & very informative. He helped us pick the right foods & pair it with the right wine. Would highly recommend.
I really wanted to go there but was still skeptical because the food on the photos & with their description didn't seem as fabulous as their ranking + reviews would suggest. Oh was I wrong, we took the 3 appetizers on the menu (caviar, mackerel & involtini) & they were all amazing. Only sidenote would be that there were pieces of rock like substance in my involtini & they told me they would subtract it from the receipt but didn't. The main course more than made up for it. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE PASTA. Their lamb ragu is amazing & their pasta is better than in Italy (I kid you not). For dessert we had the semifreddo & even though I'm not a big fan of pistachio this was amazing. I recommend for a special event 👌
Literally THE best culinary experience ever. Truly outstanding. Food was immaculate, service was unmatched. We went with our infant & they were so kind & accommodating. We will 100% return & recommend.
