The quality of ramen is perfect & the taste is authentic & the same taste as ones I had in Japan. I appreciate their professional service.
I've been here sooo many times & it's always amazing. Definitely my favorite ramen spot in Montreal. Their chicken broth just gets me every time!
I got the red Tori-paitan & asked for extra hot. The ramen came lukewarm, the broth was incredibly thick (felt like curry/pasty texture), the egg was cold, & it wasn't spicy at all. I question their choice of toppings. I read another review from 4 months ago & they mentioned the exact same thing about the Tori-paitan. Overall, not the restaurant for me, but I do hope the business improves.
Enjoyed our ramen for lunch on our quick visit to Montreal. This broth was a bit salty for our liking but otherwise was a decent experience here.
I always love finding Japanese restaurants which are truly authentic. Always a great sign if the staff speaks Japanese. :)
Food was absolutely delicious (& I eat a lot of Ramen) - we had the Karaage & spicy Tonkutsu Ramen, the broth was amazing! Haven't tried other items of their menu yet, will come back!
Love this place. The ramen is great, I had the one with chicken broth & my wife the pork broth, just Yummy ! Definitely will come back.
Délicieux ramen, le bouillon au poulet ou porc est excellent, pas trop salé, avec un petit goût umami. Le poulet coréen Kara-Age est un incontournable
I've given this place several tries over the past year, but have been consistently disappointed. My hard-boiled egg was cold at the center, & there were a bunch of large & roughly-chopped stale-looking red onions covering my ramen, which was pretty unappetizing. Overall not the best ramen you can get locally.
Simplement la meilleure Ramen à Montréal. Ton ancien voisin du haut sur Mackay … content de vous avoir retrouvé !
We wanted to try a new ramen spot, but sadly the ramen itself was disappointing to us.
We ordered the spicy tori-paitan & the hakata tonkatsu. The flavors were simply underwhelming compared to other ramens we've had & I wasn't a fan of the noodles texture. The tori-paitan also had some strange toppings: raw onions & arugula?! There were customization choices on the menu, & we could choose to have the ramen extra-hot. However, the ramens arrived lukewarm. It did not help that the added toppings, especially the egg, were very cold.
I did like the ambiance of the restaurant. The bathroom was outdated though, with separate faucets for hot & cold water.
Overall, this experience did not fill our ramen craving. In comparison, Tsukuyomi ramen close by was much better.
I eat here every week, never get tired of the ramen. Good price compared to other noodle shops, & you can tell all the recipes are authentic. Would especially recommend the karaage! 😋
Very delicious & authentic ramen noodles. Very warm & detailed services. Make sure you try their ramen d'été, it's soooo good I had it two bowls in a row
