The soup was good but a bit oily for me, however the shrimp dumplings on the soup were so tiny hahaha. I also got the dumplings surprise which they say have a minimum of five varieties on their menu. I'm pretty sure I got the chicken & corn, shrimp & the rest I wasn't too sure but nonetheless they were all very yummy. I grew up in Asia, ate lots of dumplings & I would say this place makes one of the best dumplings I've eaten in my life! The wrapper of each dumplings was just perfect for me (not too thick & not too thin). Each of the dumpling is bite size pieces & they're easy to pick up with chopsticks/spoon.View more
Incredibly authentic Chinese restaurant in the middle of the organic Chinatown in Montréal. We were told to try the cucumber salad, which was light & refreshing. Next we got a platter of mixed soup dumplings that came with instructions on how to eat them, we had chicken, lamb, & beef dumplings & they were all delectable. They were better soup dumplings than I've had anywhere in Toronto.View more
My favourite dumpling restaurant in Montreal ! Very quick service & delicious food. The pan fried mushroom & chicken dumplings are to die for !View more
This place has never let us down. It's hands down one of the best dumpling spots we've ever found, & we keep coming back for more. Even during peak hours, when there's often a wait, the staff is incredibly thoughtful. They make sure you're seated as quickly as possible based on the size of your group, though larger parties might need a bit more patience. We've tasted their shrimp soup & hot & sour soup, & both were delicious. They also serve some truly authentic spring rolls. As for the dumplings, we've tried both steamed & pan-fried, but the steamed ones have won our hearts. Our all-time favorites are the chicken coriander & curry chicken dumplings. If you can't decide between steamed & fried, you can even get a half-&-half order for just 50 cents extra. If you find yourself downtown or near Chinatown, do yourself a favor & give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.View more
The dumplings were good for the price. Each plate comes with 15 dumplings. I took the chef's choice, the chicken & coriander, & the curry beef with two other friends & it was just enough.View more
I ordered half beef cheese & hald chicken mushroom, i prefered the beef ones, the service was slow even if it was only three tables. The dumplings were juicy & good.View more
Easy, fast & tasty. Had 3 sets of steamed soup dumplings (lamb coriander, pork chive, chicken corn) & a very good wonton soup. I'd come back in a heartbeat.View more
We arrived after 9pm to our hotel nearby & discovered that the kitchen was closed at many nearby restaurants. We luckily caught this place before the kitchen closed, & we are so glad we did! We tried pork & green onion pan fried & chicken & coriander & chicken & cabbage steamed & all were delicious. Fresh, juicy, & really well priced. We're here for a week & my kids are already asking if we can eat there again!View more
AWESOME FOOD & AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN IN A HEAVY RUSH HOUR Quick story: My girlfriend & I ordered 3 rounds of 15 dumplings Pork Beef Chicken The waitress looked at us in SHOCK thinking "No way these 2 kids will finish all of these dumplings" We assured her we would & 30 mins later BOOM DONE ALL GONE All 45 of them it was too good I ate 30 & could go for more So sad seeing people around us barely finishing ONE single So I put you guys for the challenge of beating my record of 30 in 30 minsView more
Fairly loud place even though the restaurant was not full, maybe people were just very loud while we were there...? Not the type of atmosphere that would make you want to hang around. The peanut butter dumplings were ok but a very small portion, not really appropriate for sharing unless you just want a bite to taste. We ordered 2 mixed baskets of 15 dumplings, the pork & green onions, the shrimp leek & egg were tasty but the chicken & corn were not good, the pork & pickled cabbage were average. Maybe others are tastier, but we could not know which ones. We tried to get advice from our server, but she was not too convincing on the popular ones to recommend... Definitely an inexpensive meal including tips: $42.94 It is ok for a quick bite, but there are other dumplings places in town which could possibly offer a better quality dumplingsView more
We ordered beef & cheese dumplings & chicken & cabbage
Chicken was ok, but beef dumplings were not good. Beef tastes absolutely cheap & fatty. The only thing I could taste was ground beef with so much fat oil.
It could definitely add some spices in to inrich the flavor, perhaps.View more
Went for dinner here last night with 3 friends & we were a little disappointed. I heard many great things about their dumplings & frankly I was expecting more. We had fried chicken & coriander, fried beef curry, steamed chicken & mushrooms, steamed chicken leek & egg...the fried ones were good but the steamed ones were all stuck together which made it a tad difficult to pull them apart without it breaking, & the top part of the all the dumplings were a little hard. The taste of the filling however was delicious. We also had spring rolls that were cold, the coleslaw carrot salad was very good. The service not so great. They literally sat us down, gave us menus & came back like 30 seconds later to take our order, naturally we told the waitress we needed more time. I understand that there is a lineup but it's rude to try to rush people who are eating let alone people who just sat down! I'm sorry to say but I've had better dumplings & better service at another place & I highly doubt I will be going back here.
