We enjoyed two different, perfectly spiced biryanis & their signature Kulcha & bhatura with paneer tikka naan bomb

For the uninitiated, the kulcha, as I understand, is a traditional, Indian flatbread from the Punjab region. It's cooked in a tandoor, often stuffed with potato or gobhi, & served buttery hot.

The portions are generous we left completely stuffed! Beyond the great food, kamal was incredibly friendly, welcoming, & attentive, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

I recently visited Punjabi Canteen with all my family members, & we had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere felt welcoming & family-friendly.

The food was authentic, flavorful, & reminded us of true Punjabi hospitality. Every dish we ordered - from the buttery dal makhani & paneer tikka, to the rich chicken curry & freshly made tandoori rotis - was delicious & served piping hot

Whenever we visit Montreal, this place is always our lunch stop. We've tried the malai kofta, butter paneer masala & kadhai paneer & all of them were really good. I'd also highly recommend the chole bhature, honestly the best I've found in Montreal. Everything we tasted was spot on. The only thing I'd suggest is turning the music down a little. We've been here three times & each time it was a bit loud, still fine to talk, but I'd personally enjoy it more with a softer volume.

I don't usually write reviews, but this one is different. The food just melts in your mouth whether it's paneer or chaap. They haven't left any stone unturned when it comes to the preparation or presentation of food. Place is super clean & the service is fantastic. Will come back here again for sure

We usually go to Snowdon one, but this was another level. We had butter naan & Shahi Paneer from here, & both were absolutely delicious. Our server was very kind.
