We found this place quite by accident after searching'beer' on Google Maps & saw this happened to be nearby. We are certainly glad we did because it's a hidden gem! Some of the best beer I had in Montreal & some really unique side pouring styles with lots of foam, plus cool clay mugs from Germany! We didn't eat but the food looked & smelled amazing also.
J'ai vraiment adoré l'ambiance di Poincarré situé dans Chinatown. Dès qu'on entre, on ressent une atmosphère chaleureuse & animée qui donne envie de rester longtemps. La décoration est soignée, avec un mélange de touches modernes & de détails inspirés du quartier qui créent un décor unique & immersif. La musique est bien choisie, assez présente pour mettre de l'énergie sans empêcher les conversations, ce qui rend l'endroit parfait autant pour sortir entre amis que pour une soirée détendue.
Le service est sympathique & efficace, & on se sent rapidement à l'aise. L'endroit est propre, bien organisé & très vivant, surtout en soirée lorsque l'ambiance devient encore plus festive. L'emplacement dans Chinatown ajoute aussi beaucoup de charme, avec l'animation du quartier tout autour qui prolonge l'expérience. C'est clairement un endroit que je recommande à ceux qui cherchent un bar convivial avec une super ambiance.
This place is incredible-great drinks, great service, & an overall awesome vibe. I was visiting from out of town & had such a good time that I was very buzzed by the time I got home. However I left Montréal wondering how anyone could ever understand the person who founded the city!
C'était vraiment différent à ce que je suis habitué de manger, mais c'était bon & c'était une expérience agréable. La bière, wow! Très bonne bière, j'ai adoré le foam qui font sur le dessus.
I came here for drinks Sunday night with a few friends & we were pretty disappointed. The beers we ordered were 25% foam. My friend mentionned the foam to the waitress & she just removed the foam & returned it without topping off the pint. I looked around at other tables & they also had an excessive amount of foam. For a $13 pint (including tip) I'd expect the glass to at least be properly filled.

Terribly small portions for the price. You will be very disappointed & regret it. Do not order food there. There are other nice terraces nearby that have a chill ambiance but with better food.
My friend also asked if a dish had sesame seeds because he's allergic & they confirmed it didn't, yet there were obviously sesame seeds sprinkled on the dish...
Had a few pre-dinner drinks here & what a great place for that! I've never found anywhere in North America serving Kölsch like they do in Cologne: every time you empty your glass another one appears!
Courtois, bonne cartes de bières, cocktail & vin. Repas délicieux. Focus sur la fermentation maison: cocktail & repas avec des préparations maisons. Très belle attention originale & délicieuse. J'ai toujours aimer le service au bar. Au table c'est inconsistent. Les prix sont plutôt raisonnable pour le centre-ville.
