Pour la nourriture vraiment rien à dire, c'était excellent.
Cependant nous aurions aimé être avisé lorsqu'on nous a offert eau normal ou pétillante, que l'eau pétillante en question coûtait 8$ la bouteille! D'autant plus que la deuxième bouteille qui a été ouverte a servi à remplir les verres des gens deux tables plus loin… Constat sur notre facture: 2 bouteilles d'eau pétillante alors que nous n'avons pris qu'un seul verre sur la deuxième bouteille… 8$ n'est pas le problème, le problème surtout c'est qu'on ne nous aille pas avisé qu'elle avait un coût lorsqu'on nous l'a offert…
Première expérience pour nous au Sofia & honnêtement... Pour avoir travailler des années en restauration j'ai rarement vu un service aussi horrible....
Restaurant extrêmement bruyant.
Nous y sommes aller pour la St Valentin. D'abord on nous avise que la table nous est accordée pour 1:30
Après 30 minutes assis, personne n'est venu nous voir. Il a fallu que je fasse signe au responsable pour lui en aviser.
Le serveur a échapper un cocktail sur la fille de la table devant nous & mon conjoint en a reçu dans le dos. & je ne juges pas mais considérant l'erreur j'essayerais d'offrir un service A1, mais il est arrivé à notre table avec aucun sourire. A pris notre commande sans nous demander si on souhaitait quelque chose à boire..
Malgré tout la bouffe était bonne donc on a fait obstruction du service considérant la soirée très achalandé...
Mais le comble de tout 😂.... Il nous reste 2 pointes a notre pizza que nous demandons d'apportez. Rendu à la maison, on ouvre le sac & une seule pointe à été mise.... J'appelle à l'instant au restaurant... Aucune réponse donc je laisse un message sur le répondeur. Je n'ai jamais reçu de retour d'appel!!!
Une semaine plus tard, j'appelle en journée & tombe sur le responsable .. lui explique la situation & sa réponse a été OK Ben vous attendez à quoi de nous?
Gros gros zéro pour le service sur place & clairement aucune considération pour les clients.
Nous sommes allez le jour de la St Valentin avec reservation sur la plateforme de la reservation cela dit 20 min de grâce de retard nous sommes arrive exactement à l'heur du délais accordés la fille a la porte nous a catégoriquement REFUSÉ elle nous a même pas laissé le temps de lui montrer que c'est sur la plateforme quelle n'avais jamais vu ça que sois disant je m'étais trompé! J'ai demandée à voir un gérant jai montré le message il nous a tout suite dit qu'il aller nous trouver une table la demoiselle à la porte nous à dévisager tout le long de notre attente , & le repas je en vous en parle mon plat principal dure & sec …. Au prix que ça coûte je ne retournerai pas à se restaurant

My husband & I went to Sofia's for a supper for Valentine's Day. Let me start off by saying the online reservations was bogus. When we reserved for our dinner which we got by chance every other time was booked. We got our reservation for 5pm. When we got there the restaurant was pretty dead. There must of been only 15 people inside by 5:30 which didn't make sense according to the online reservations which were all booked.
The food was okay nothing special. I had the chicken parmigiana & my husband had the veal scalopini & we ordered the Americana pizza as an appetizer. The service was good. The atmosphere was bland.
Came to celebrate my birthday food was average & took too long to be served. Hostess no smile on her face looked like not interested in working. Waiters were chewing gum while taking order. The music was blasting loud. Bill was close to 600$ before tip which was not worth at all. My waiter was not even able to take a nice picture on my Iphone 17 pro max see the attached picture on the review. I would rather go to the Rosemere location.

Nous avions réservé une table pour 10 personnes à 19h00. Tout le monde est arrivé entre 19h00 & 19h10. Après un petit moment d'attente, on nous a finalement offert un verre à boire. La commande complète a été prise vers 19h40.
Nous avons attendu jusqu'à 21h15 pour recevoir seulement 4 entrées sur 10, puis encore 15 minutes supplémentaires pour obtenir les autres. C'est totalement inacceptable. Mon entrée (les arancinis) était en plus froide. Aucun pain ne nous a été proposé pendant cette attente - nous avons dû le demander à deux reprises, & il est arrivé à peine 5 minutes avant les entrées.
Les plats principaux sont arrivés vers 21h45. En général, c'était correct, mais mon escalope de veau était extrêmement salée &, honnêtement, l'appétit n'y était plus après une telle attente.
Pour fêter l'anniversaire d'une amie, nous avions apporté un gâteau (ce qu'ils ont heureusement accepté). Cependant, ils nous ont facturé 4 $ pour la coupe du gâteau. Ce n'est pas tant le montant qui dérange, mais après une expérience de service aussi médiocre, le simple geste de ne pas le charger aurait été la moindre des compensations.
Pour couronner le tout, il y a eu des erreurs dans la séparation des factures & la serveuse nous a simplement dit qu'elle s'excusait, mais qu'elle ne pouvait rien faire pour les corriger.
Bref, je ne remettrai plus jamais les pieds dans ce restaurant & je ne le recommande à personne.
Ps : si vous désirer aller manger & parler, n'aller pas dans ce restaurant c'est impossible de pouvoir parler !

Service was absolute garbage. I wish i read the reviews before entering because this is seems to be a common theme. Waitress was normal at first but when we requested to get pasta without meat or cooking wine, the attitude switched.
I ordered the margherita pizza (basically vegetarian) & the busboy brought us a different pizza saying'this has pork by the way'. & we informed him that it was the wrong order.
They took it back & brought us back our pizza. It was delicious but the whole experience was soured after we waited $40 minutes for our truffle fries. we told two different staff & finally decided to cancel it. We informed our waitress, asked for the bill & she was NOT happy about it.
Proceeded to wait for the bill for 20 minutes, until she came & told us that the machine wasn't working. She started saying that it would need 10-15 minutes to restart, & if we had anything to do for that time. She offered for us to pay cash or e transfer. We told her we will just pay cash & she kept pushing for us to pay by e transfer. Finally, she combined our order, gave us the receipt. She left again 5 minutes, while we waited to pay. Then when she came, we handed her the money & walked away. She was bothered & stared at us intensely as we left.
We just came back from Sofia & all we have to say is the service was excellent, food was excellent. My husband & I shared salmon tartare, oysters & we each had a pizza. Portions were a good size & it was soooooo delicious. Yes, it was a Tuesday night & our reservation was at 5 pm so yes it was calm. Our waitress Elsy was #1 the whole time & the busboy Mateo was charming too. Around 7ish, more people came & service was still very good. We are definitely coming back. Oh & my negroni was fantastic! Highlight of the night: that mini bottle of Tabasco was so cute!!!
We don't understand the negative comments about the restaurant. It's 2026, let's not be a Karen or a Kevin anymore please! Yes it was a bit pricey but the quality of our meals matched what we paid for. If you find it too pricey, stay home & let others enjoy the restaurant.
I'm not one to leave reviews unless it's amazing or horrible. This one is the latter. I celebrated my 30th birthday with family (6 total) & except for the atmosphere, everything was subpar. Maybe the service & kitchen were having an off day, but given the obvious occasion (there were ballons & cake on the table), I shouldn't have noticed it. Especially as the one who's being celebrated. From my glass of wine being forgotten to my mac n cheese being served cold (as you can tell from the stiffness of the sauce on the pasta, & yes - this is a mac n cheese), each misstep exacerbated my annoyance. Anyway, I dont recommend for special occasions
Food was ok, Service was okesh (had to ask for hot souce twice). So, it was not to the expected level for a fancy restaurant & factoring the high price. My biggest issue is the noise, it was so noisy, felt like in downtown bar. We went there for dinner on Friday at 7pm.
Reservation is highly recommended.
