We've visited this location a few times before, as well as their Rosemère location, & the restaurant always impresses with its beautiful, modern decor.
We were seated in a central booth in a relatively calm dining room. As the evening progressed, the atmosphere became much more energetic.
To her credit, our waitress, Emanuelle, stepped in & brought the noise level back down to something manageable. Her professionalism made a real difference.
Now, the food-this is where Sofia truly shines.
With no gluten-free pizza dough available that evening, I opted for the rigatoni cacio e pepe, topped with black truffle paste (normally served with gnocchi). The gluten-free pasta held up beautifully, & the dish was rich, creamy, & deeply flavorful, with that earthy truffle note adding a refined touch.
My wife ordered the cavatelli with San Marzano tomato sauce & basil-simple, classic, & very well executed. Portions across the board were generous.
To start, I had a Caesar salad (sans croûtons)-fresh, crisp, & again, very generous. My wife chose the fritto misto, a beautifully presented plate of fried calamari & shrimp served with a spicy mayonnaise.
Dessert was a standout: fondant al cioccolato, served with Nutella cream, caramelized pears, vanilla gelato, & a hazelnut-chocolate tuile. Decadent, well-balanced, & absolutely worth saving room for.
For wine, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc paired nicely on her side, while I went with a bold Chianti-both solid choices.
Final take: The kitchen delivers consistently excellent food with generous portions & thoughtful execution. Service, especially from Emanuelle, was attentive & solution-oriented. The only drawback was the noise level, which at times detracted from the overall experience.
Would we return? Yes-for the food & service. Hopefully next time, with a slightly quieter soundtrack.

If i could put a 0star i would.
Super salty food, shitty customer service, super slow (took for ever to get seated & to receive the food). We were starving. Overpriced!! No paypass??? Manager doesn't do his job doesn't manage anything. We complained about the wait time & the salty food & he didn't take care of the situation. AVOID THIS LOCATION!!
If you read my other reviews , I never complain. I love food & I'm not picky. But this place … the food was overly salty. & we spoke up about it to the waitress which was wonderful by the way, & she told us we were the 4th table to have voiced that.
The manager came in hot , with an annoyed attitude , it was already 10pm when we received our food ….. (we had a reservation a 8pm, got seated at 8:22pm, & received our food at 10pm) he's like but why didn't you tell us that your food was salty. BRO I WAS STARVING & I genuinely thought it was like me being crazy or maybe the Parmegiano . I don't know . We didn't finish our plates, the pizza was barely touched. Even a waiter tried our food & said it was way too salty.
So the manger was like well tell me what do you want we can make it but it was already 10:10pm at the time.
So they deducted my pasta plate & the pizza. But it was just the arrogance of the manager. How come I had to argue with him that the food was disgusting. Like you literally have 4 other tables who also have complained .
The appetizers were fine but seriously what a mediocre even lower than average food.
Le grand jeune homme qui aide les serveurs est vraiment désagréable, met les assiettes sans même nous regarder & nous laisse avec des assiettes dans sauce ou fromage pour les pattes !!

Premièrement, je dois dire que je ne comprends pas les mauvaises notes sur ce resto. Le service était impeccable, la bouffe est dans les meilleures que j'ai mangées. Nous avons pris en entrée les arancini , en plat principal nous avons partagé une pizza burrata & les pâtes gnocchi & WoW!! c'était vraiment excellent. Coup de coeur pour l'huile de truffes. Je n'ai aucun point négatif à écrire. Les cocktails étaient aussi délicieux. La propreté, l'ambiance, la qualité des ingrédients, le service & l'accueil étaient tous excellents. On a même eu droit à des verres de limoncello avec nos desserts, gracieuseté du gérant. C'est sûr que nous allons y retourner!!
When paying cash one of our party asked for 2$ back (calculating an 18% gratuity for subpar service)
They were told by staff that 18% is the minimum, that said staff didn't have change & that this was that.
Food is okay, music is atrociously loud & above all: service is terrible & a shame to the service industry.
Les meilleures pâtes que j'ai jamais mangé de ma vie! La nourriture est toujours excellente! Le service toujours super rapide. Si vous cherchez un restaurant italien, je vous recommande à 100%

Nice Italian restaurant with very easy underground parking. It was a packed Saturday night but the service was still very good. We shared the calamari plate. It is good for 2 people but no more. I had the Veal Scallopini. It was good but found it a little salty. I also ordered a glass of wine. It seemed like a small 6 ounce for 18$. The restaurant is nice but I do agree with the other reviews that it is very expensive for what we had.
The food was amazing but the service was a slow/non-existent. We had to wait long to get someone to get our order. The waitress was there for our order & get our check. She did validate that everything was ok mid-meal, it took a lot of time to get our check but the waitress was a bit too social with people at the bar.

Je n'ai jamais vu un service aussi nonchalant de la part des employés. Les filles qui travaillent là semblent clairement dérangées par la présence des clients. L'ambiance est très toxique & l'accueil laisse vraiment à désirer. Nous ne recommandons vraiment pas cet endroit.
En tant qu'habitués de la bannière Sofia (nous fréquentons régulièrement les succursales de Laval & Rosemère), c'est de loin notre restaurant favori. Cette année, faute de place ailleurs pour la Saint-Valentin, nous avons découvert le Sofia de Brossard. Grand bien nous en a pris !
L'expérience culinaire a été fidèle aux hauts standards auxquels nous sommes habitués :
• L'entrée : Nous avons partagé l'Insalata Cesare. Un classique parfaitement exécuté & toujours aussi savoureux.
• Le plat principal : J'ai opté pour mon incontournable, les Rigatoni Vodka Rosé. L'exécution était sans faille, & j'ajouterais même une mention spéciale pour la portion, qui m'a semblé légèrement plus généreuse qu'à la succursale de Laval !
• Le vin : Un excellent Pinot Grigio pour accompagner le tout. Un accord parfait.
Pourquoi un 4/5 ?
Uniquement pour un tout petit détail de service. Habituellement, le personnel du Sofia nous propose toujours le choix entre de l'eau plate ou pétillante en début de repas, ce qui n'a pas été fait cette fois-ci. On pardonne facilement ce petit oubli compte tenu du fort achalandage de la Saint-Valentin !
