First off, the restaurant inside is very small, we were a party of 13 & took up most of the space in the front. There were two other small tables in the front & two in the back., there is also a bar area & a small terrace in front. We went there for a birthday celebration & none of us had been there before. We thought we would give it a try due to all the rave reviews. Our reservation was at 6:00, & we ordered drinks right away. We chose to order from the tapas(entree) menu instead of the main dish menu, (which did not have a large choice to begin with), so that we could try many different things. We were told by the waitress that the dishes(tapas) were small but that they can be shared between two people, therefore 4-5 dishes amongst 2 people. This was not even the case since the dishes were too small to share. For example, the dish with the ravioli had only two raviolis on it. There were several dishes like that, too small to share, such as the beet tartare & salmon tartare(which was one of their best dishes). Their octopus salad was one dish that could have been shared as well & which was not bad. But even that did not impress me too much, since I am greek & eat octopus here & in Greece quite often. The worst dish was the grilled vegetables dishes (which was big enough to share), we had ordered two & they were one of the ones that were forgotten & brought to us near the end. The vegetables were completely raw, they just had a bit of grill marks on them just to say that they were put onto the grill & with a bit of oil. Completely tasteless & hard as if you took them out of the fridge & threw them into the bowl. We also found that the tapas were expensive considering their size, average was $8/ dish (ex: for 2 regular-sized raviolis!!!) The service was very slow & our waitress was completely lost. Not only did five people still not half of their order at 8:15 but we were suppose to be out of the restaurant by 8:30 for the next seating. In the end she even got the bills wrong. She charged one person for 12 items instead of 8, even though those items were charged on someone else's bill already. This was brought to her attention. We wanted to really like this place since it seemed like a quant little place but I don't think any of us will be returning again, there are too many other places in Montreal to try rather than a place that did not leave an impression the first time around.

Cela fessait quelque année depuis mes dernières visites & j’ai été surpris que le restaurant soit plein un dimanche soir. Encore une fois, très belle expérience, le service est impeccable, le décor très bien & le choix de tapas est très varié. De loin mon meilleur resto de tapas & les prix sont très justes. J’ai beaucoup aimé leur ribs de bison sauce BBQ maison, leur figue farcie de fromage, leur ravioli au chèvre, leur champignon farci de canard & leurs pétoncles/Cherizo. Par contre, un peu moins aimer les tapas de sardine & le celui de tomate & chèvre. Si vous aimez les tapas, c’est vraiment le resto à essayer.

I really don't give out 5 stars that easily, trust me.
It's one of the best restaurant in town. The best ''foie gras au torchon'' ever tasted. Try it with the Strawberry & Pepper gazpacho.
One compliments the other.
Loved the beets & salmon tartare, the duck ravioli, the ragout of snails with mushrooms, the beef carpaccio, stuffed fig with serrano ham & the bison ribs. Haven't tried everything yet. Great ambience, beautiful wine list, perfect service. Nothing negative to say at all.

Je ne donne vraiment pas 5 étoiles si facilement, croyez-moi.
Ce restaurant est un des meilleurs en ville. Le meilleur foie gras au torchon jamais mangé. Il faut l'essayer avec la gazpacho fraise-poivrons. Un complimente l'autre.
Beaucoup aimé : le tartare de saumon avec betterave, le ravioli au canard, le ragoût d'escargots & de champignons, le carpacciao de boeuf, les figues farcies & les ribs de bison. & comme dessert, le gâteau au fromage ! Hmmmm !

Je n'ai pas encore tout essayé sur le menu même si j'y suis allée quelques fois, mais j'ai mes préférés, que je commande chaque fois. Ce n'est quand même pas donné. Environ 170$ pour 2 avec 3 verres de vin, environ 11 tapas & 2 desserts. Bonne ambiance, belle carte des vins, très bon choix au verre, service parfait. Rien de négatif à dire.

Vraiment mon restaurant préféré & croyez-moi, j'en ai essayée des restos & j'aime les mets raffinés. La nourriture est tout a fait exceptionnelle tout autant que le service. Grande sélection de vins & réserves privées. Je suis déjà allée 4 fois dans ce resto & les serveurs (serveuses) nous informent très bien du menu & nous aide à choisir un vin qui s'accorde avec les pintxo choisis. Pintxo, ça veut dire tapas mais en plus petit & plus raffiné :) Voici mes pintxo préférés après les avoir presque tous goûtés : Tartare de betteraves jaunes au saumon fumé & feta, Torchon de foie gras au confit d'oignon, tartare de canard fumé, piquillo farci de crabe & de crevettes avec un bisque de crudités, oeufs brouillés à la morue, raviolis farcis de fromage de chèvre avec gésiers de canard, Bajoue de boeuf braisée à la riojana, boudin aux pommes, foie gras poêlé sur lit de lentille avec sa réduction de vinaigre au vin rouge au jus d'échalote, champignons farcis au confit de canard. De plus, il y a des pintxo du jour qui ne sont pas sur la carte & que la serveuse prends le temps de nous expliquer. Je vous suggère fortement d'essayer ce restaurant au moins une fois dans votre vie & je suis persuadée qu'il fera parti de votre carnet :) Bon appétit!!

Tout est à la hauteur de la réputation de ce restaurant. L'accueil est très chaleureux & courtois. Le service est fait avec empressement & grande politesse. La description des plats est invitante & exacte. La nourriture est exquise. Les Pintxos sont originaux & particulièrement savoureux. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les raviolis de canard & chèvre, le carpaccio de boeuf & surtout les calmars au confit d'oignons. Pour ceux qui apprécient le sucré-salé, la gazpacho de poivron & fraise était un délice. La carte des vins offre un très bon choix de vins espagnols pour tous les budgets. Ce restaurant nous a permis d'avoir une très belle expérience gastronomique! A refaire !!
