I came looking to buy a pigeon. Ended up buying brunch instead.
Pigeon Cafe is a hidden gem in the West Island with its unassuming exterior but stunningly beautiful interior decor.
Everything that we purchased was excellent with the exception of the Brown Butter Eggs Benedict. Firstly, as seen in the photo, the meal didn't come with bread & the waiter had to bring us bread on the side. Secondly, the eggs were very watery & upon popping both eggs, the plate was flooded with the water that the eggs were boiled in which made for a very watery & bland dish. This happened with both eggs & unfortunately this ruined the Eggs Benedict dish for us.
The other three dishes that we had were delicious & I would order them again for sure.
Though it's advertised as the world's worst coffee, the coffee is actually fantastic. The milk was well textured & the perfect temperature. Really good job from the barista.View more

Nourriture & café très bon & agréable. Service ponctuel & amicable. L'atmosphere est excellente & le décor très charmant. Facile pour stationner aussi. C'est une excellente place unique & je me suis vraiment réglaé d'y être! Fortement recommendé. Seule chose est que j'ai trouvé la musique un peu trop bruyante mais j'avais mes propres écouteurs alors c'était pas un grand problème. Je serais de retour!View more

I just wanna start off by saying the vibes are amazing, I came with my family today & was blown away by the decor & atmosphere. I thought that would be the highlight until the food came out, the pancakes & breakfast sandwich were phenomenal. This is West-Island best kept secret. From the outside look, it doesn't look special, the magic is when you go in the restaurant, simply magnificent, the decor is outstanding. As for the food it is very delicious, all choices seem very good. Try it & you won't be disappointed. Staff is also very nice.View more

Great food & beautiful decor inside! That tree with the lights really makes the ambiance elegant. Hosted my cousin's bridal shower here with a group of 30 women & the pigeon team was a pleasure to work with- from menu selection, decor setup & overall quality. Dinner at Pigeon is a relaxing & happy experience. Beautiful decor, attentive helpful staff & an interesting menu. One of the few places where u can actually chat at the table without being drowned out by loud music. We had a birthday dinner & enjoyed a good meal. Vegetarian friendly was a bonus

We recently celebrated our wedding at Pigeon Club Café, & it was truly an unforgettable experience. The décor is absolutely stunning. The warm lighting, combined with lush greenery & elegant indoor trees, created a magical, intimate atmosphere that perfectly matched our vision. The unique layout of the space gave our wedding a distinctive charm. We held our ceremony under the trees on the mezzanine, & then enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends & family on the lower level, near the bar, with the patio doors open. The staff were exceptional! Very attentive, friendly, & highly professional. On the wedding day, they worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly, & were always ready to accommodate any request. Several guests even mentioned how the bartenders remembered their drink preferences after only a couple of refills, which added a personal touch. We entrusted the food planning to the restaurant owner, Sean, which took a big part of the planning off our plate. His expertise in both the restaurant & event business ensured that every guest was well-fed. The food was fresh, flavourful, & presented beautifully. Our guests raved about how delicious each dish was, which truly enhanced the overall experience. If you're looking for a reasonably priced wedding venue with stunning décor, a warm ambiance, & outstanding service, Pigeon Club Café is the perfect choice. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place to celebrate our special day, & we highly recommend it to anyone planning an event.View more

The perfect hangover cure!! I shared with a friend, the breakfast sandwich & the shakshuka. Both plates were tasty & hit the spot after a night out. We were a party of 8 at around 12pm & we were able to get a table right away. The staff were so nice & accommodated to my group's needs. The atmosphere of the restaurant & decor is what makes going to pigeon worth it. It is absolutely beautifully decorated. I would definitely go again & try the restaurant in the evening.View more

After one moderately good lunch & one terrible dinner, I'm giving them 2 stars on food & 3 on service. I was served rancid matzo ball soup. It was as I was swallowing the first bite of the matzo ball that it hit me. Not a little off, totally rancid & spoiled. I'm now working through some impressive indigestion. The server was vague about it, then admitted at the very end that another customer had also complained. (!) "But it's beyond our control; we don't try the food every day." He obviously didn't charge me for the soup but left everything else on the bill & said something like "sorry the soup wasn't to your satisfaction." Um, wrong response to serving spoiled food. The decor is fun & well done. Everything else could use real improvement.

I finally had a chance to try this place after hearing good things about the restaurant. First off , the place is gorgeous. The decor is beautiful. We found the staff very friendly & the place was busy on a nice Saturday afternoon. I ordered the Pigeon Special & my wife ordered the Richard Lewis. We enjoyed our foot (especially the waffle fries ). I was slightly disappointed that the menu didn't have brisket though. Overall we're satisfied with our visit & we will be returning in the near future.View more

First time coming here & had a table for 11:00 . Great atmosphere & decor, service was great despite how busy it was. I heard good things about this place & was looking forward to my meal. Ordered the Pigeon Special sandwich. Very disappointing. There was barely any meat in it. I'm not exaggerating when I say there was 1 slice of each type of meat. We ended up calling it the sad sandwich. So don't recommend getting it. Otherwise the other dishes that was ordered were good.View more

First time visit, decor is gorgeous, nice atmosphere for breakfast. Service was good, coffee was tasty. Unfortunately, for the price, there are better alternatives around for the food. Lacking variety, & as others said, items to enhance the plate. If you advertise avocado as included in the plate, it needs to be there, otherwise with the small amount of variety, it is noticeable. Overall good experience, but I will return to other breakfast spots before this one.View more
