I just wanna start off by saying the vibes are amazing, I came with my family today & was blown away by the decor & atmosphere. I thought that would be the highlight until the food came out, the pancakes & breakfast sandwich were phenomenal. The staff were pleasant & courteous, & had great recommendations 10/10 would definitely recommend for brunch!View more
My go to place in westisland, My favorite are the chicken schnitzel , the shakshuka & of course their waffle fries.
the vibes are amazing for breakfast, brunch or even group events.View more
Breakfast is very strong & they are accommodating to preferences.
The service is MUCH better here than at the downtown location. Silia in the bar area could give a course on VIP service.
Ambiance is welcoming & music is trendy.View more
$30 breakfast & Coffe not included lol its a jockView more
Nice, spacious, & well-decorated place with great customer service. Their breakfast menu is a bit different from typical breakfast spots, offering a unique touch. However, the plate I was served was a bit lacking, to be honest, & the cucumber & tomato salad was quite unusual!View more
Great food, that's not the issue 👍 Service was very, very slow. Came for breakfast & after waiting for 30 mins for a coffee, I decided to go grab it myself from the bar. Food took over an hour to arrive. Many tables around us waited as long or even longer than ours. I get food could take a while but at least bring coffee to the table in a timely manner please, it's the morning & we're all craving it. Place looks nice, staff was nice, but it was slow & loud. Hard to have a conversation.View more
Beautiful decor, plates are a good size but a little pricier than most breakfast places. Coffee not included which was a bit disappointing considering it was 3.95 & that's not when for a specialty coffee (latte, Capp etc)View more
I was really excited to come check this place out. They had a vegan cookbook (Thug Kitchen) in the entrance & so I was hopeful they might have at least one vegan option. Unfortunately, they did not have any vegan food. Though I was disappointed, I am aware that not every resto has a vegan option but it seemed confusing given the vegan cookbook? I asked the waitress if the breakfast potatoes were cooked with oil or butter (always go for potato side when nothing else). She said she was not sure but would not go ask the kitchen. She said they would probably have to make it totally unseasoned & it would just be bare potatoes so I should not get it. I was unhappy that she would not even check with the kitchen. She said just get waffle fries instead. ~5 dollars for the breakfast potatoes vs ~9 dollars for the waffle fries. I was hungry so I said okay I guess. The fries come & for 9 dollars I expected it to be a nice portion. It came in a very small bowl & was absolutely not an appropriate amount of fries for NINE dollars. I also ordered a latte (thankfully they did have non-dairy milk). When my latte came, it was lukewarm & not enjoyable at that temperature at all. It was not even remotely hot. Overall, I will not be returning or recommending the restaurant. It sucks because the vibe is cute. But it was just really disappointing.View more
We frequently eat breakfast out & are always looking for a new spot to try. We finally got around to trying Pigeon Club & were very disappointed. The normal courtesies of a breakfast place were simply not observed. Toast was served but unlike every other breakfest restaurant we have tried no jam or peanut butter was offered on the table. I ordered eggs/bacon with no potatoes &, again other places will ask if one would like some tomato or fruit instead, here nothing. Our other order was pancakes, but other than the syrup that had already been put on in limited amounts, no additional syrup was offered. The bacon was overdone. A big surprise was the coffee which in other breakfast restaurants is included in the price, ie two eggs, bacon or sausage , potatoes & coffee. The coffee here is extra , $3.75 each. In total one order of two eggs & bacon, one order of blueberry pancakes & two coffee tax & tip =$56.17View more
Interior is very comfortable, a bit expensive for breakfast but still enjoyable.View more
Finally I got to try this popular restaurant. The terrace was pretty busy on Sunday morning. My date had a grilled cheese with breakfast potatoes. Nice sourdough bread, good cheeses. Everything on the menu looked good but I settled for the grilled veggie sandwich with halloumi cheese & waffle fries. So friggen good. Everything on my plate was super delicious. I also drank a London Fog. It was delightful. Very beautiful inside. Definitely coming back.View more
Went there for breakfast/brunch. Their breakfast potatoes are so good. The interior was amazing! Every little details count.View more
The perfect hangover cure!! I shared with a friend, the breakfast sandwich & the shakshuka. Both plates were tasty & hit the spot after a night out. We were a party of 8 at around 12pm & we were able to get a table right away. The staff were so nice & accommodated to my group's needs. The atmosphere of the restaurant & decor is what makes going to pigeon worth it. It is absolutely beautifully decorated. I would definitely go again & try the restaurant in the evening.View more
I'm not sure if the menu at all Pigeon cafes has changed or if it's just this location, but it was a smaller menu than the one in St-Laurent had a few weeks ago, so I didn't find the waffle covered in fruit I was craving. Also the tables were so close together you have to move the tables to get to the seat & your junk was still rubbing on both tables. Which made people visibly uncomfortable & self aware(& that was the skinny folk of which we are not). I wonder what the firemarshall would think. I can't imagine what would happen in a fire wouldn't end up being safe. The food was ok. The breakfast sandwich was good, but came with cheese we didn't notice on the menu(not great when you have food restrictions), & overcooked breakfast potatoes.View more
I had mixed experiences. I went on Mother's Day & it was fantastic! What an ambiance & all of our food was so fresh & delicious. I had the shakshouka & yellow smoothie. I raved to everyone I knew. We went back for Fathers Day & it was not at all as I expected. Our latte's were room temperature & in my opinion nothing special. Our pancakes were only 2( I thought we would be getting 3) & they were soaked in syrup when we got them, I mean soaked! I was u see the impression we could pour the amount we wanted. The merguez sausage was dry & tasted like cheap quality meat, I was embarrassed because I praised my halloumi shakshouka we previously ordered & this was 😕.. not so good. The poached eggs in them were way over cooked. Also the challah bread got dry & cold before we even got to the dish & I ordered double bread. My shooey bagel was like overcooked dry egg( no yolk whatsoever) when I ordered poached . ( 😒 annoyed) & the bacon was chewy & fatty, almost microwave tasting. The first time we tried bacon is was great ( I think my mother told them extra crispy). The bagel & sour dough was very hard & dry. I hate to be so negative when I was so proud of it on Mother's Day, but I was actually embarrassed when I brought my family there this time. But.. breakfast potatoes were consistent & delicious! Oh & my yellow smoothie this time ( again I originally bragged about it) was almost a juice that ONLY tasted like orange. I didn't taste any ginger or turmeric. ( I feel like they screwed up & gave me fresh squeezed orange juice) but it almost had a commercial OASIS O.J taste 😐 This was at the West Island LocationView more
We hosted my baby shower this past weekend in the private room & couldn't be happier with the experience & service. It was a pleasure working with Sean the past couple of months. He was very attentive & make sure all our needs were met. The day of the event, everything was perfect from the delicious breakfast food, to our waitress Olivia who was very accommodating, pleasant & a sweetheart. I highly recommend organizing your event there, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Sean!View more
Im giving this place 5 stars, but if I could I would give it 100 lol. The food hits the spot everytime, whether it's for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or for a coffee break. I'm still dreaming of the shakshuka. What really made this place stand out for me is how the manager, Sean dealt with a situation I had with Uber eats a few weeks ago. Long story short, there was a mistake with my uber order (I only received 1 item out of 3) & uber didn't accept to refund me for the missing items even with pictures & a receipt as proof) & I was told to reach out to the restaurant directly. Sean right away heard me out & went above & beyond to resolve the issue & generously gave me a gift card + a coffee for the inconvenience. I am definitely going back & spreading the word that this place rocks ! ❤️View more
Went for breakfast with my husband on Sunday. Waitress was extremely nice, food came out really quickly after ordering. Bright, nicely decorated, decent prices, coffee was really good. Only 2 things were a bit slow getting my oat milk for my coffee & getting our bill. Not the end of the world since we weren't in a rush. Will likely go back with our kids some time.View more
Had my birthday brunch yesterday at this lovely cafe. Everyone was so happy & satisfied with their dishes; the staff went above & beyond to accommodate our big group. The green smoothie I had was oh so yummy, & the Shoey's Breakfast Bagel was so goooooooooooood. & I can't forget about the Ferrero rocher Cheese cake... Delish! The atmosphere & vibe & decorations also make this place a must for your special celebrations. We will be backkkkkkk!View more
First time visit, decor is gorgeous, nice atmosphere for breakfast. Service was good, coffee was tasty. Unfortunately, for the price, there are better alternatives around for the food. Lacking variety, & as others said, items to enhance the plate. If you advertise avocado as included in the plate, it needs to be there, otherwise with the small amount of variety, it is noticeable. Overall good experience, but I will return to other breakfast spots before this one.View more
