Très décue du grilled cheese & la soupe tomate. Le fromage du grilled cheese semblait être du ficello fondu, c'était très sec & la soupe tomate n'était pas onctueuse & crémeuse mais plutôt liquide.
Upon arriving, we requested a table for six on the second floor. The hostess tried to seat us on the first floor, so we reiterated our preference for the second floor & mentioned we were happy to wait. This seemed to really bother her. Once our table was ready & she seated us, she gave us terrible looks that were highly unprofessional.
Also, I suggest providing a kids' menu then the guests don't need to split with the children. The venue is beautiful, but given the hostile service from the hostess & the high prices for what you actually get, I would not go back.
My husband ordered a breakfast dish & it was good. I ordered more of a lunch dish & the presentation as well as the food itself was very poor. I couldn't eat it. I ordered a second sandwich choice & it tasted good but was very scarce & extremely overpriced. One of our drinks never came. Also when I spoke to the waitress she was argumentative so I stopped sharing my feedback. Very disappointed with this experience in such a lovely atmosphere.

Went here for the first time today with my mom.
I have seen this place before, but I never got to try it until now... I regret not going earlier because the food is the bomb.
The waitress that served us today was Jessica, she was really sweet, patient & kind. She helped us place the orders with no problems at all.
My mom ordered the Fattoush Salad for $17.95 with added grilled chicken for $8.00 (Total of $25.95). I ordered a Pigeon Club Sandwhich for $19.95 & a ceaser salad as a side with added bacon, which was $5.95 together & my oder came up to $31.65... I was hungry 😅
Anyways, the food was really awesome, & if you go to this cafe, I suggest you do try the Pigeon Club sandwiches cause they were really good & I would have had ten more of them if I could, lol. The mocha was also really well made & the flavors were really rich. I could also vouch for it :)
We came across this cafe & thought we'd check it out while visiting Montreal. Great service & a good breakfast/lunch spot with a variety of options. Nice ambience/decor. Thank you.
We visited Pigeon Cafe for the second time this year. The first experience being a great one, I wanted to see if things would be the same or better.
Like the first time, it was perfect. Atmosphere is really great unlike some restaurants. When inside the restaurant you get this feeling of being in a forest, yet indoors! They must have put a lot of money into this setup & I think it pays dividends now. Restaurant has many levels & gives you a lot of choice where to sit, leaving you with a different experience each time.
The resto was super clean, including the bathrooms, where most resto's get a failing grade.
Food was great, it was reasonably priced, for what you get. The booze was expensive, but then again inline with other restaurants.
Our server was awesome, Jesse, I believe was his name. He checked in on us many times....& no this does not always happen in other restaurants, so thanks to the management for carrying out proper training with their staff.
This restaurant can get busy, so it's best you reserve on the busier days. Only thing I'm not sure about is why they need a credit card when reserving online. I would ask management to look at this & have it removed. I've never seen this before with other restaurant reservations. This is my only critique I can make & it is not a complaint under any circumstance.

My daughter & I came for breakfast hoping to enjoy a special morning together. The service was poor from start to finish, the food was average, & the experience did not justify the price.
Management contacted me after my initial review & asked that I remove it. While I appreciate that they reached out, I was very disappointed with the resolution offered, as it did not address the actual issue or the experience my daughter & I had. I removed my original review in good faith, but after reflecting on the response I received, I felt it was important to share my honest experience.
