Pigeon Cafe hosted our wedding ceremony & reception in June. The restaurant's decor made it a magical night, & there was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the whole event. The food was delicious & the drinks were amazing. The staff was very friendly the whole night & provided the best service possible to all our guests. There was nothing more we could have asked for. We hosted my parents' 50th anniversary here & couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
Newsha, the owner, was a pleasure to work with; professional, kind, & incredibly accommodating. With just under 100 guests, the evening ran seamlessly.
The food was outstanding. The shareable appetizers were a huge success & set the tone for a wonderful meal. The main dishes were a hit, especially the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly to each guest's preference. This was definitely no small feat for a large group. We received compliments all night.
The ambiance was warm & inviting, & the staff were attentive & friendly throughout the night.
A huge thanks to Newsha & the entire team for making this milestone celebration so special. Highly recommended!View more

Ordered delivery. A matzo soup, artichoke dip & shashuka. We never tried matzo soup before. Mainly ordered it for my kid. But is it supposed to taste like Lipton soup & just plain dough ball? The cream cheese was super overpowering for the artichoke dip which kinda made me lose my appetite after a few bites. Shashuka was good. I wish we had ordered more toast.View more

The coffee is excellent, & the brunch menu offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes like shakshuka & hearty bowls. Their cocktails & drink options also make it a good pick for late afternoons.
Staff are warm & attentive, & service is quick. Prices are reasonable for the location, & the overall vibe is welcoming-great for solo visits or casual meetups.

We just had a family brunch there today. I can honestly say it was beyond delicious. We were talking about the french toast the entire day. The pancakes were also amazing as was everything else. Bonus was they were pet friendly! When I'm back in Montreal I will, without a doubt, be back!View more

Food was good, but overpriced.
Service was atrocious. Appetizer came out at the same time as dinner. & the the dinner was not how we ordered. When done eating, the server talked to other tables for 15+ ignoring us despite a request for a check. Another employee also reminded the server we were waiting. This did not help.
We eventually paid at the front counter & as the server ignored us we ignored the tip line.
