The downside for me, is that that's all I can have, coffee. There aren't any vegan or vegan friendly options in the menu, maybe fries, but those are available everywhere..would love to see at least one vegan option on the menu. It's easy & low cost to add. Lovely place though ✨
As a Saturday get together of 5 best friends, we are told upon arrival 2 hr is allocated. We arrived at 9:15 & at 11 we are told our table is reserved for other customers. Ok, but there were at least 6 tables available ? We received our plates at almost 10... As a café place, no decaf coffee ? Really ? Reason why I gave it a 3 star service. Non merci...not going back.
Stepping into Pigeon Café feels like entering a cozy oasis. You're greeted by a charming interior adorned with plenty of greenery &, notably, live flowers adorning each table. The ambiance is cozy & inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind & enjoy a meal. One of the highlights of Pigeon Café is the warm & welcoming atmosphere. Unlike many establishments, the staff here go above & beyond to ensure a personalized experience. Instead of simply seating us at any available table, our waiter kindly allowed us to choose our own spot. As for the food, it exceeded my expectations. My steak was cooked to perfection, boasting impeccable flavor & tenderness. The accompanying sauce was a true culinary delight, elevating the dish to new heights. & let's not forget the dessert selection, which offered a tantalizing array of options to satisfy any sweet tooth. Last but certainly not least, a mention must be made of the coffee. Rich, aromatic, & expertly brewed, it provided the perfect ending to an already exceptional meal. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Green Haven Cafe for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Its unique charm & excellent service make it a standout dining destination.
Very noisy inside restaurant + coffee not included with breakfast so have to pay extra which is odd & unlike other breakfast places. Otherwise good, staff friendly & service is usually fast/efficient except for that one time. Food tasty & stands out from other places in selections offered.
Ordering a simple two-egg breakfast, you expect to get 2 pieces of toast. Instead, they embarrassingly cheap out & take one tiny piece of toast & cut it into two. I asked for tea. Typically you bring a little metal teapot. Instead, they bring the tea bag & the cup. Tea is best enjoyed steeped. Most decent restaurants offer this. We weren't checked on during the meal, or offered more hot water or coffee. When I motioned the server over to ask for more hot water, she was about to go get it without asking if my friend wanted more coffee, which she did. My friend had a simple salad with no meat in it. The bill was 47$ plus tip. The place was empty, so it's not as if the servers were under stress. Perhaps they're getting that chain attitude, where quality & customer service starts to slip.
I ordered the shakshuka & sweet, they bring only one fork for both dishes, the waiter was tuff, he gets angry because I change the chair direction, the coffee not free like other breakfast shop. only the atmosphere was good.
I've been to this location twice now - once in summer for food, & once recently for a coffee. In my experience - good food, good coffee, & friendly service! The ambiance was also great on both visits. Will definitely be back!

This was my first experience at Pigeon. I was quite excited as I heard about the Monkland location which I have not gone too yet, & thought it would be the same.I actually asked the hostess if Monkland was owned by the same owner & she said they are now franchised. We were so disappointed to start.
1. Waiter was not attentive to the need of the customer. & the restaurant was empty for a Sunday at 12 noon.
2. Food was prepared earlier as the avocado toast was brown in colour, fresh avocado would be green & appetizing this was horrible, & eggs that were poached were probably sitting in warm water all morning, as when we cut the egg water came gushing out all over the plate, what a disaster! The salmon thankfully was ok that lay over the brown avocado, with some disgusting pickled onions thrown onto the salmon!
3. Very disappointed. Very overpriced. Plate was empty no fruit or potatoes simple hard bread wet eggs with water leaking everywhere. Hollandaise sauce was on the side that should be tasted before serving it. My friend ate half her meal as even a bagel lox & cream cheese was poorly presented.
4. Coffee was ok, for the one mug we paid 3.50$ for & the waiter never bothered to come back to ask if we wanted more coffee or water.
5. When we got up to leave he asked was everything ok ladies? He could not care less so we said nothing. Table next to us said the exact same thing. Bread was not fresh food disappointed & that during the week food was better. They were 4 people & what a shame!
Shape up guys as 52$ for 2 small breakfast meals Is very very expensive plus tipping. 60$ for this well not worth it. Educate your cooks & & teach them proper cooking skills
The restaurant has an adorable ambiance & a pleasant atmosphere, though the music was a tad too loud. The food & coffee were enjoyable. While our waiter was friendly, there was a slight delay in their service. I appreciate the convenience of being able to make reservations at this place!
