Je recommande vivement ce restaurant ! La nourriture est vraiment délicieuse, surtout le poulet grillé au charbon qui a un goût incroyable, ainsi que le riz parfaitement préparé.
Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, surtout avec les offres proposées.
Le personnel est très accueillant & souriant, on se sent vraiment bien servi & respecté. Leur gentillesse fait toute la différence.
Une très belle expérience, je reviendrai sans hésiter ! 👌
Ils ont annoncé une offre mais une fois sur place, la personne a la porte nous a dit a plusieurs reprises qu'il n'y en avait plus, que seule les personnes ayant un ticket seront servis, alors naturellement jai quitté la ligne apres une quizaine de minutes à atteindre mon bus, que ne fut ma surprise de constater qu'il y avait des gens qu'on laissait passé qui etait venu apres moi & qui n'avait pas de ticket comme moi... pas très honnete comme procedure.
I usually order from this restaurant 2-3 times a month. I really like this place & I've been a customer since their very first branch in Toronto. I normally get the lamb mandi along with a chicken shawarma wrap, & it's usually good.
This time, the lamb mandi was unavailable, so I ordered chicken mandi instead, along with the chicken shawarma wrap.
When I got home, the chicken had a very unpleasant smell - it smelled off & not fresh at all. I honestly couldn't eat it, so I ended up giving it to my cat.
I want to mention something important: during the last summer I ordered from here, I got a chicken shawarma wrap that had a metal pin inside. I spoke to the manager at the time, but there was no real reaction. I chose not to leave a bad review back then because I understand something like this could happen in any restaurant.
However, this time I feel they really need to take this seriously. I like this restaurant, but they need to pay attention to these issues for their own sake & for their customers. I'm spending my money here, & I expect better quality & safety.
Overall, I hope they improve their quality control.

The lineup to get your food once your number is called is crazy & your fighting for space even with door dash Uber eats delivery people. Should have at least something to seperate clients eating on site vs pickups
I've been coming to Original Shawarma (Montreal branch) pretty often now, & it's easily become one of my go-to spots in the city.
The chicken shawarma is always on point - juicy, flavorful, & perfectly wrapped every time. But honestly, don't stop there. The roasted chicken is just as impressive, super tender with amazing seasoning, & the mandi is a must-try too - rich, aromatic, & seriously satisfying.
Everything tastes fresh & well-prepared, & the portions are generous. The staff are always friendly & welcoming, even during busy times, which makes the experience even better. The place is clean & has a nice, relaxed vibe.
You can tell they're consistent with their quality, which is why I keep coming back. Highly recommend if you're in Montreal & want something delicious & reliable!
The food is really good & definitely worth trying. The seating area is a bit crowded & tight, & in the summer it can get quite warm, but the food makes it worth it.
