Originaire d'un petit restaurant Nam Vang Hu Tieu situé au 94 Nguyen Tri Phuong, à Saigon, au Vietnam, qui a été fondé en 1982 par une famille de réfugiés cambodgiens de Pol Pot. Pho Anh vend fièrement uniquement des plats vietnamiens célèbres, avec des saveurs distinctives et une présentation originale. Pho Anh a ouvert ses portes aux dîneurs canadiens en août 2014 à Vaughan, en Ontario. La combinaison parfaite de l'art culinaire vietnamien unique dans un espace confortable et propre a permis à Pho Anh de gagner la large confiance de la majorité des dîneurs.
Pho Anh suscite des retours très positifs sur une expérience authentique, avec un bouillon riche et des ingrédients frais, typique du nord du Vietnam et préparé maison. Le lieu est décrit comme chaleureux et accueillant, avec un service attentif et des explications sur la meilleure manière de déguster chaque plat. Plusieurs avis soulignent les options végétariennes et le bouillon séparé, ainsi que des portions généreuses et un rapport qualité-prix appréciable. The BEST pho vegetarian broth we've had & the only veggie pho my husband cares to try again. We've been to many pho places around the world & this place blows it out of the water. The gentleman who served us is super passionate about his cooking & we taste the unique blend of flavors in his food.
My friends from out of town are also amazed & so is the table from New York next to us. Highly recommended!
I would first like to qualify this review by saying that the only reason that I am giving two stars instead of one is due to the quality of the food. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent. That being said, I was *highly* unimpressed by the older gentleman who, upon serving my partner a side dish, proceeded to give him a paternalistic lecture for over a minute straight on the proper manner to eat said side dish, despite making us visibly uncomfortable. As we did not wish to make a scene, we endured him until he finally left us alone. My partner was quite nervous & unhappy with the experience. We will not be returning, & I would not recommend this restaurant unless you enjoy unsolicited "advice."
Great authentic Vietnamese restaurant with authentic Pho soup. Best Pho in Montreal! Service was good even though the restaurant was busy. I highly recommend it!
This place came highly recommended by my son who lives across the street as well as two complete strangers we met at a pub a few doors down. It would've been easy to miss as it's on a lower level on the busy street of St. Denis but it should not be overlooked. The service was excellent, so much pride in the food & space. We had a selection of dishes, all which were so delicious & fresh. The beef salad appetizer, which I almost forgot to order then I remembered that the strangers at the pub raved about, did not disappoint. I could've eaten buckets of it. Every bite was fragrant & flavourful. The owner even came over to tell us it was his own creation so not available anywhere else. Every time I come back here I will order it without fail. Loved everything about this hidden gem. Sorry no photos...we were too excited to eat!
The owner / cook was very proud of his pho broth, & for good reason! He made sure to check in with us & let us know that we were having the "real pho, so no bean sprouts, etc." & came again later on to ask how it was. Our answer: delicious! We also enjoyed the I highly recommend this place dessert, which reminded me a lot of Filipino halo-halo. Service was great, & the food was served fast. Would come here again.

This has to be my favourite restaurant ever. The chef always comes to talk to you to reel you about the dish & how to eat it. It is the perfect balance between feeling like you having dinner at a friends house & having a fine dining experience. You can tell that a great amount of care was put in to their dishes. Put simply their vegetarian pho was the probably the best dinner I have ever had. I would highly recommend this amazing place!!
Such a great find!! Pho broth was clear & packed with flavor. Not pictured but the egg yolk on the side eaten in the pho broth was divine!! Bot chien was also standout. Very crisp with a creamy center. Bun cha Hanoi was also delicious. Highly recommend this place!!
We had a great experience at Pho Anh! I went with a group of 8 people, & they were super accommodating & fast. The servers were very kind & took the time to explain each dish. Everyone LOVED their meal. Amazing food & service, I highly recommend!!
Some of the best Vietnamese food we've had outside of Vietnam. The beef salad was exceptional. All of the dishes were very flavourful, lots of fresh ingredients used in the preparation. Highly recommended.

Our first stop in Montreal. Delicious Vietnamese & some of the best I've had outside of Vietnam. Had Phở Tái Nạm & Bún Chả - Hà Nội. The owner talked to us about how he cooks everything fresh & made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend.
Pho Anh is in my neighbourhood & I go regularly for the pho, which is by far the best I have been able to find in the city. It h really is exceptional & the owner will give you a social history of pho. His rich broth takesthree days to prepare. Highly recommended
It's absolutely authentic place with awesome food. We do like Pho & tried it in different places before. So I am absolutely sure- this place is awesome ! highly recommend to visit. Host was very friendly. Also you have to try A7 - it's unique beef salad by chief's recipe!
