I heard a lot of positive reviews, so I decided to try the place & the pastries they sell. I bought 1 kg for baklava for 53 $ plus 15% for the service for a total amount of 61$. First of all, the service was bad, they gave me a ready-made box when I wanted to choose the type of baklava I wanted, pistachio, almond, nuts, etc.
The people serving were very unpleasant & look like they are forced to serve you. For sure, it was the first & last time I visit this place!!!
Tellement une belle place, des pâtisseries succulentes, des gens chaleureux & heureux de faire connaître leurs produits aux non initiés.
Seul petit bémol : il fait froid. On voudrait garder notre manteaux!
Sinon, en endroit à découvrir. Je m'y arrête chaque fois que je passe devant & que j'ai un peu de temps pour prendre un café & un baklavas

Each visit brings back many sweet memories for us & leaves us with a wonderful feeling. Truly one of the best Arabic pastry shops in the city.

The Baklava & Arabic sweets are as good as they can get. This place rival some of the best in Syria or Lebanon. They don't stint & the use high quality ingredients.

In my opinion, the absolute best Middle Eastern style pastry shop in all of Montreal. The baklavas are delicious, the service is impeccable, & the decor is beautiful. I make an effort to always pass by & grab a box of fresh pastries when I'm in the area.
Mahrousé is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth! Their baklava is perfectly crisp, buttery, & not overly sweet. The variety of Middle Eastern sweets is impressive, & everything tastes fresh & authentic. Friendly service & a cozy atmosphere make it even better. Highly recommend
