Discovered Bervig our first day in Montreal & enjoyed delicious & beautiful pastries, croissants & quiche nearly every morning after!

Amazing GEM! Fusion of French & Japanese ingredients (chefs are from Japan & Brittany) melded into perfect creations of culinary genius. They even created their own croissant shape...almost like a bagel croisant with a base. As others have said...it was perfectly presented. In addition they take time to explain their creations & show great pride & love for what they do. What a happy surprise stumbling upon this place. (: sure to brighten any rainy day.

Excellent place for breakfast with great sandwiches & croissants which are just made. Phillip, the owner, was kind & welcoming. Absolutely recommend the roast beef sandwich.

Wow! Found this place & it was an absolute gem! Everything we tried was extraordinary! The croissant sandwich was out of this world! We chatted with one of the owners who absolutely loves his job & strives for perfection! Definitely must try!

Everything is great here, best croissant sandwich I had in my life. We also had the chocolate blanc & rose dessert. The quality is perfect. I can't wait to come back again.

We stopped in Montreal for a quick bite as we drove to Toronto. We ended up at this delightful shop & bought two sandwiches & a couple of pastries. The beef banquet was fabulous. The Ham had great flavors & yummy roasted vegetables. We ate cream puff with light pastry & delicious custard. The chocolate & almond croissant is for dessert later. Enjoyed a picnic across from Notre Dame with lovely music & people.

We were in Montreal for four days & had breakfast at Patisserie Bervig three times!! The owner was so nice. We were hungry for a ham & cheese croissant sandwich but they didn't have any. He offered to make it for us for us!! We were so, so touched! We also purchased some cookies & pastries to take back to the hotel. The pastries were so beautifully made & delicious. We are such big fans. We are going to visit Montreal again in a few months & will definitely go there for breakfast again.
