The BEST patisserie in the world!!

All the pastries are made here with so much love & care; you can absolutely taste it! French style pastries with a Japanese twist are something you won't find anywhere else. Of course, there's also the classic Japanese treats like an-pan & melon pan which are always a hit for me.

Tsubasa-san is always coming up with new creations so make sure you come back often!!

Or just come for a tea, the selection of teas are truly special :)

Cozy cake/coffee/tea place.

Unlike many soul-less big business coffee shops designed by XYZ architecture/interior design firm with group XYZ that seems to be populating Montreal, Aïdo has the charm of a mom-&-pop small place with excellent cake & coffee that is owned & operated by the chef.

Other coffee shops would have cold service from employees who aren't paid enough to care, but this one was different!

The place is the right size & has multiple seating formats perfect for solo, small groups or even tables that would be good with kids.

I had their hojicha latte & it was delicious. I saw that there are many other tea items in the menu, & they also sell small bags of from-japan teas.

The two cakes I took were well balanced, the cream was fresh & not cloyingly sweet. All of the cakes are Japanese 🍰 & it's a nice change from other styles of pastries Montreal has a lot of.

I would support this place again.

Excellent, delicately crafted pastries that combines Japanese flavours with French techniques. The teas & tea-based drinks are also a must-try. The service is friendly & attentive. A hidden jewel!

I love Amairo. Their pastries are tasty, the owners always kind.

I'm frustrated with the hours of operation. Being one of the only cafes in the neighborhood, it's always busy but only open for a few hours a day. Opening at 11am or 12pm most days & shut for almost half the week in upcoming June. I would really appreciate a third barista joining the team so the cafe could be open in the morning & every day rather than 4x a week
