sushi(98) fresh(30) quality(25) fish(24) chef(24) nigiri(22) sashimi(22) dessert(18) maki(17) bar(16) platter(16) lunch(15)I was so looking forward to my dinner last night at Park & sadly was extremely disappointed. first the positives...I was greeted warmly & promptly at the front & taken to my spot at the bar. The server was very nice. The decor is fine...nothing amazing...but clean & nice. The sushi chefs don't even acknowledge you. I didn't expect them to have a full conversation with me, but I did find it odd that they don't look at you (not even once) & they simply don't acknowledge you at all. The maki roll I got was so underwhelming. The sauce on it was delicious...but if you took away the piece of shrimp sitting atop of each cut piece the actual roll is simply rice. If there was anything else in it...it was miniscual because all you tasted was rice. So I had shrimp atop of rice. Beyond disappointed. I would not recommend the roll called Ebigari Maki. The menu says that is has salmon & tuna tartare inside but I tasted none. I only tasted rice. For a roll that anywhere else would range between $20 & $30 they charged $49 & all I tasted was rice inside the roll. I knew that Park was expensive & I had no problem with that because I was expecting a fabulous dinner with phenomenal sushi. I did not get that. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I was so disappointed that I stopped ordering & let the server know that I was underwhelmed & other than saying she was sorry...she did nothing to try & make it right. For what I experienced Park is overpriced & does not deliver the exceptional food I was expecting... I asked for the check & left...still hungry & very disappointed.
A bit pricey but totally worth it, this is one of the best sushi that I ever had. Very tasty, great service & cozy atmosphere.
Excellent restaurant, small, not too big. The food is extremely fresh & very tasty with lots of flavor. Try the sashimi platter. Wait service is impeccable. Probably, the best sushi I have had in Montréal.
Excellent experience overall -- food was extraordinary & staff were very friendly & attentive The fan/vent above the Omakase bar could be cleaner though & some of the light fixtures as well, but it was a great experience overall & access to free indoor parking was a nice perk (ask them for the code to get into & out of the garage) Thank you for a lovely experience! :)
A friend & I went here for sushi last Saturday night. What we ate was very good - super fresh & nicely presented. However, the choice of different sushi is fairly limited, & they are available only in platters of 6 or 8. For the price, our meal was somewhat disappointing.
Good food, good service, weird mix between a high end place & a nice local restaurant.
The only criticism I have is that the music was too loud, & the choice of music is not authentic.
honestly the best sushi/fish i never had. Server was very sweet & the ambiance is chic but also accessible!
the quality of the food was amazing. we took the plate for one with around 30 pcs, soup miso & endamame + tartare on the side + wine bottle & we were totally full at the end! can’t wait to go back, thank you for the experience 😊
The experience was exactly what you would want. The service was casual but attentive. The environment was relaxed with great music. The food was extraordinary. The nigiri was as greasy as can be.
The food was delicious, the sushi’s were good. But the service & the ambiance weren’t there, which for me is part of the experience itself.
We order a bottle of wine, a couple plates on the side & a tasting experience for 1 person, me & my boyfriend always shared plates & we were more than happy with our selections! Cost about 700$ with tips for 2 people.
Amazing meal the picture is worth 1000 words - We were lucky to seat at bar it was a wonderful show!
Food was well designed but nothing especially tasty-wise.
It was just good, not worth the price.
Honestly very good, but the prices are exaggerated in my opinion.
There are other sushi restaurants in Montreal with the same fish quality, but with more reasonable prices. Anyways, it's a must try in Montreal, but I feel like the value ratio isn't great.
An overall delectable experience provided by master chef Antonio.
It's definitely a must. You will not be disappointed.
Very good in general, seafood extremely fresh, which is rare in montreal. However, it is NOT a traditional sashimi menu, a lot of fusion with korean & south american cuisine.
