Palma est presente comme un endroit chic et dynamique ou l'ambiance, la musique et le decor impressionnent et ou la nourriture est souvent excellente, en particulier les sushis frais et les plats de viande, avec des cocktails bien notes et un service qui peut etre chaleureux et efficace; les serveurs et hotesses sont frequemment loues pour leur disponibilite et leurs conseils; certains avis indiquent que le rapport qualite-prix est eleve, que le lieu peut etre tres bruyant et anime, et que la cuisine peut parfois sembler attendre ou varier selon les plats; des critiques mentionnent des retards importants lors d'un diner de groupe ou des problemes de facturation avec un pourboire automatique et des frais supplémentaires; malgre ces points, Palma demeure souvent recommande pour des diners romantiques ou entre amis et pour les soirees avec DJ et ambiance festive, avec l'envie de revenir pour decouvrir d'autres plats et profiter de la mise en scene et du service.
5/5 across the food, service & atmosphere. Sushi was out of this world & I didn't expect that. Staff was very attentive & friendly. When they made an error & we raised it, we were apologized to & compensated. They also checked in on us frequently despite the busy night. Decor was modern, hip & very aesthetic. My only comment is that it can be hard to find this restaurant. Make sure to inquire with the Alt Hotel reception to find your way.
To start, The entrance to the Palma is not inside the hotel. There are two entrances beside the hotel & it's on the second floor. I'll put pictures of the entrances. The vibe, it's a very classy vibe that makes you have spend on drinks & have a fun time. The atmosphere is pretty good & the color lighting make a nice ambiance with a touch of tropical shades. The food, it is exquisite & delicious, yes the prices are a bit high but it's good, like very good. The staff are friendly enough to party with them. Lastly, I prefer to uber to the location because nowadays Griffintown is now packed with restaurants but very few parking spots. There's a valet service on Wellington Street just in case but I like to warn you ahead. Had a great time overall. Do enjoy.

First experience at Palma was awesome. Food was delicious, service was on point! Laurence was our waitress. Highly recommend for a nice date night or night out with friends.
My experience eating & drinking at Palma has been nothing short of being exemplary with more than a touch of class! The Udon Noodles is with mushrooms or ribs is amazing, but the Cowboy! Is my go to meal every time 😋
I recently dined at Palma for my friend's 30th birthday & it was a very pleasant experience! The ambiance was cozy & elegant, & the service was amazing. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, each one beautifully presented & tasteful. The staff were exceptional!! Laurence was our waitress & she was such a delight, making the evening even more enjoyable. Palma is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Montreal!
What a great experience the food was exquisite beautiful decor & music the bartenders were great 👍 👌 try it out its worth every penny even if it is expensive
Belle présentation . Le plat de pâte à la truffe refroidi très vite . Cocktails bon mais j'aurais aimer une décoration sur le verre . Bonne ambiance. Homard un peu cher pour des pop-corn de homard mais belle présentation . Sushi très bon . Bon moment 👌🏻. Je ne met pas 5 étoiles au service car les employés sont souvent avec leur téléphones & ne font strictement rien c est un peu gênant de les voir rien faire ils sont vraiment beaucoup . Cuisine 4 pour le homard que je trouve un peu Sur-coté mais réellement bon juste un peu cher . Voilà l'ambiance général est bonne .

Breathtaking experience at this gem of a restaurant in the heart of Griffintown . I went yesterday & I had the pleasure of dining at "Palma " & I must say it was a memorable experience from the moment I stepped inside. Palma is truly a culinary gem. The ambiance was intimate & sophisticated, perfect for a night in town . From the perfectly seared steaks to the beautifully presented sushi options, every dish was a work of art. The flavors were well-balanced & left a lasting impression. The restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive. They made great recommendations & were always ready to cater to our needs. What truly stood out, apart from the food & service, was the exceptional coat check service. The coat check attendant Estera was polite , friendly & efficient. She greeted us with a warm smile, took our coats, & provided us with a numbered ticket. When we were ready to leave, retrieving our coats was a breeze. Estera had everything ready & even helped us put on our coats. It might seem like a small detail, but it added a touch of luxury & convenience to the dining experience.I left her a great tip :) Overall Palma exceeded my expectations on every front. The restaurant offers a delightful combination of gourmet cuisine, a charming atmosphere, & exceptional staff. The coat check service was the icing on the cake, showcasing their commitment to providing a truly elevated dining experience. Can't wait to come back !
I absolutely would like to update my review. A few minutes after we didn’t get the table, we were offered another one that wasn’t the bar. They did fix their mistake but by that time I already posted my review. I appreciate the fact they did their best to give me what I asked for. The food & the drinks was also great!
Très mauvaise experience culinaire. Contre-filet a 80$ c'est moyen. Cuisson medium-saignant manqué. Ils ne m'ont pas proposé de poivre. Le comble, ce restaurant n'a pas de couteau à viande. J'ai dû utiliser un couteau à beurre pour me battre avec une pièce de viande mal cuite. Le Palma ne devrait pas être un restaurant mais simplement un lounge…
