We visited Palma in the heart of Griffintown & had an amazing experience. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lively, & the music made it a great place to party & get your night going. We ordered the tomahawk omnivore platter & it was incredibly generous - more than enough food & perfect for sharing. The staff were personable, welcoming & very attentive throughout the night. The owner stopped by to check in & made sure everything was great, which was a really nice touch. A must-try spot in Montreal. I'd absolutely return for any occasion.

Went with a group to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a reservation so we were seated right away. I strongly recommend you have a reservation. The service was great 👍 our server was helpful & gave us good suggestions. Pomegranate Martini & Passion fruit Martini were amazing. The food was delicious 😋 the whole table shared starters that were all very good. I especially loved the rock shrimp & the sliders. My husband had the salmon & said it was the best he'd had in a restaurant. I had the lamb, 4 pieces, & it was perfectly cooked & delicious as well. A DJ was spinning great Music all night. There was a club vibe but the music was fun & brought a good vibe, not too loud that we could not talk, just right. I would recommend Palma & we will certainly be going back.
2 Stars instead of 1 because Angeline our waitress was very pleasant to us. & what occurred was not her fault.

I've been to Palma before for drinks & music, & the vibe is always great. Unfortunately, our birthday dinner experience was extremely disappointing.
We (group of 3) had an 8:30 p.m. reservation & arrived on time, but our main course didn't arrive until 10:30 p.m. a full two-hour wait. We received one appetizer early on, but the delay was so long that we had to order another just to get through the wait. By the time our tomahawk platter arrived, I had lost my appetite entirely. Eating a full meal that late wasn't enjoyable & completely took away from what should have been a special evening. What should have been a joyful celebration turned into an exercise in patience, trying to stay in good spirits while waiting endlessly.
Our waitress was apologetic & explained that the system had overbooked tables, yet there were empty tables throughout the night, which made the explanation hard to believe. The food itself was okay but underwhelming for the price entrées were better than the mains.
The bill came to $800+, & we still left with half the food packed to go. As compensation, the only thing offered was removing a $15 cake-cutting fee, which felt almost insulting given the circumstances. For a restaurant at this price point, waiting two hours for food is unacceptable. Great vibe for drinks but book dinner at your own risk. Go drink & dance, for food eat somewhere else.

Nice Montreal restaurant Overall
The food is good & the presentation is excellent
The service is very friendly. Sabrina was pleasant & knowledgeable
The only problem is the music being a little loud
The food was okay but very pricey. It was over an hour wait for our main dishes. When this issue was escalated to management, instead of compensation we were given shots that were never asked for. The interior was nice but the music was obnoxiously loud. Overall I do not recommend this place & would not go back here again.
I recently went to Palma for dinner I never write reviews but my server was such an angel I have to share. Her name was Angelie & she was so kind, gave amazing service, very attentive & made the whole experience. The food was unreal, great music, definitely recommend if you wanna fun dinner, amazing service, a quality meal
Best restaurant I went to until now. Absolutely stunning interior, great ambiance music, really nice staff & very good food & drinks. I came here to celebrate my birthday & it was the best decision ever. I would definitely come here again !! thank you PALMA for this amazing experience 🤍🩵
I went to Palma on Sunday night. They were having a three course meal special for $44. My server Harold gave me the best recommendations for both the food & the wine. Everything came out in a timely manner. The music was super fun, the vibe was great, the service was excellent. The dishes were never at my table for too long after I was done, that included both the food & drank. The manager Raphael came to check & make sure everything was good. Honestly, this was such a great experience & I know I'll be back soon.
I came for my friend's birthday party. Overall, my experience was okay.
The negatives :
- The music was waaaaaay too loud & it was really difficult to hear conversations with friends
- 20$-24$ for cocktails... Is a choice 🥲
- My server was really nice. HOWEVER, they explained that the reason my Udon Noodles Short Ribs took too long was because they put it as a'main dish', while the rest of my friends got their entree for the Table d'Hôte. Althought understandable, one of my friend who came after me got their meal before I did : it was the Udon Noodles Truffle Mushroom, which was basically the same food different font. It's kinda confusing why we didn't have it at the same time, mais bon.
The positives :
- My food was good, but the truffle noodles are better than the short ribs in my opinion
- I love the design of the restaurant
- Despite receiving my food late, the service was still great & my server was nice.
I'd say it's a restaurant you'd want to come for the ✨aesthetic✨, but I will come back for the Truffle noodles, they're 100% worth the try!
It was my second time at Palma*. I really love the place is beautiful, the vibe is so nice, I love the music. We came for drinks & had the Short ribs Udon which was so tasty & compared to what I thought seeing the plate the portion was okay once eaten, wouldn't mind some more noodles tho haha.
I asked for an espresso martini but with a Irish cream like liqueur & it was perfect !

It was rather quiet as I was a early bird still the music was good. The spring roll exceeded my expectations. The sparkling water was my request & was not forced to me. I had a mocktail to accompany my meal.
Way too much people to handle make service slow.. also food might be better been the 3x for diner & was disappointed all 3 times but the sushies are great.. music & atmosphere are amazing but food is 6.5 to 7/10 & i think they serve way too much people at the time for what they can handle sadly. But its still a good place with a great vibe for ambiance
