Really bad service. Most of the food is really not edible (except for the sushi, they are good). The sushi takes more than an hour to come, at this point we were not hungry anymore. We have been there for more than two hours & maybe got 30% of the amount we ordered. Do not recommend.
Really good vegan sushi, I was impressed with the quality & presentation. I ordered through Uber Eats. The imitation tuna tasted a bit rubbery, but it wasn't bad. I mostly chose sushi with more natural ingredients rather than fish imitations (except for the tuna).
I selected sushi à la carte. In total, 36 pieces came to about $90.
I'd definitely eat there again.
Exceptional & will leave you wanting more, a dear brother showed me this place, vegan sushi, I was like you crazy, it was crazy good 😊👍🏽
The sushi 🍣 are amazing. The kids loved it. I never thought the a vegetable sushi can be so good.
Super restaurant à sushi vegane. C'est original varié & très innovants. C'etait délicieux à juste 35$ par personne, all you can eat!
Essayez leur faux poulet pour emporter c'est la meilleure chose au monde.
We used to genuinely love Oplante & have been regular customers for years. Unfortunately, our last two visits have been very disappointing.
The food was average at best this time - not what we had come to expect. However, the biggest issue was the service. Our waitress seemed very confused throughout the evening & repeatedly brought our dishes to the table next to us. We had to keep asking about missing items, & only then would she go retrieve them.
Because we had a concert to attend, we ended up rushing through the meal. It was only at the end that we realized we were missing eight items from our order.
We approached the waitress simply to provide feedback - we were not expecting compensation, just acknowledgment. Instead of apologizing, she told us that since we had left food on the plates, we were'probably full.' She also added that normally they charge for uneaten food, so we had actually'saved money.' She then said she couldn't offer a discount - even though we never asked for one. The tone was dismissive & inappropriate.
After my partner explained our perspective, she eventually apologized & said she thought she was doing us a favor.
We then asked to speak to a manager & were met with an employee who appeared completely indifferent. When we finally spoke to the owner, the response was minimal - just a brief apology with no real engagement or accountability.
It's unfortunate because we are long-time vegan customers who have supported & referred many people to this restaurant over the years. Sadly, due to the decline in both food quality & customer service, you have lost loyal clients.
Really delicious all you can eat for $35+ tax!! Truly yummy food, endless options for everyone's tastes. My non vegan friends loved it too. Highly recommend! For a casual dinner, or a date, or even a birthday or occasion.
Great food, great variety. Might wait a bit for large orders but the delicious dishes are always worth the wait.
This restaurant is the best restaurant I have ever been to! It is always a joy going to an all-vegan restaurant & not having to search the menu for options. Everytime I visit Canada, I make going here part of my trip at least twice! The unlimited'buffet' option is the best. My partner & I have been through most of the menu & nothing has been disappointing. To make the experience even better, there is a cute & helpful robot to bring your food from the kitchen to the dining room. Always an amazing experience, & always amazing food. (Go ahead, order one of everything with 1 friend-then, maybe order seconds!)
We keep going back to this vegan Asian restaurant. Never fails to impress. Food is unique, plentiful & flavorful. You can't go wrong.
The food was good, but I didn't like the ordering system - it led to confusion at my table of who ordered what & some of the ordered items didn't appear. I would go again but order an individual plate as opposed to separate sushi items
1h wait to get our first plate. 3h+ total & did not get everything we ordered.
My mom & I got to the restaurant later than we needed to get there. We literally had about 40 mins to order our food, eat, pay & leave. It was strange there was only one server with it being busy on a Sunday evening but thankfully she was super sweet & when I explained our situation, our food came out quick & we were able to head out on time. We LOVED the food. We ordered a roll (can't remember which one now) but it was very tasty. The tempura shrimp app was delicious & we couldn't believe it was vegan! The robot server they had to help out was something I've never seen before so that provided some fun entertainment;) I would love to go back & try more dishes. So lovely to be able to eat vegan sushi at a fully vegan restaurant!
This place has been going downhill for a while. Its too bad. I loved the old place. It was a must for any occasion.
Delicious!! Flavour is very close to the real thing. My partner is allergic to fish, so we get to eat sushi together & I love it. The rolls are really well made, really hits the spot.
All you can eat is the way to go. Kinda gloomy atmosphere because it's in the basement, lacks warmth but the food is good.
