Review Summary

Onigiri Shop is praised for tasty and affordable onigiri and for friendly, fast service, with customers appreciating helpful recommendations and a neat presentation, and the place described as cute and inviting; experiences vary, with some dishes having too much rice relative to the filling, rice texture issues, or fillings that lack flavor, and a few visits report misorders, packaging problems, or rice that is undercooked or overcooked, along with occasional unprofessional service, suggesting that while the food can be excellent, consistency could be improved.

We tried Fuji Mountain & the tuna onigiri, & we really liked it. Nice customer service as well.

April 2026:
I am so disappointed. Last summer, Onigiri Shop was my go-to when I wanted a quick bite. As of recent, the rice is less fresh, the portions are smaller & the fillings have been greatly reduced. In addition, yesterday, I placed my order online & picked it up. 2/5 onigiris had the wrong fillings (I ordered two raw tuna & received two cooked tuna onigiris). I don't think I'll be back here.

June 2025:
Onigiri shop offers a variety of flavors, all equally delicious! I especially enjoyed the eel & salmon onigiri, but all of them were great. The portions are generous & only range between 4.99-7.99$ each. I was completely full after two portions. It takes around 15-20 minutes for the food to be prepared, but it's worth it!

My husband went to this location in person a few weeks ago & came home with the most delicious spicy tuna & Korean chicken onigiri. I ordered on Uber eats about 30 min ago, since I couldn't go in person & to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We ordered the same thing as the first time & decided to try the miso beef variation. The rice was more than warm & the filling lacked taste. The texture was also not the same as the first time we went. It's like we ordered from a different spot entirely. We will reconsider going back.

Onigiri are okay, sort of bland & fall apart really easily. Mini ramen seemed to be missing ingredients. 6,99 for a very tiny piece of yuzu cheesecake. Tuna was probably the best.

Service was good. The cashier was polite & our food was ready in just a few minutes.

Unfortunately, the onigiri was very bland. The portion was quite large; I will give them that, but the spicy tuna had minimal flavour & absolutely no spice.

It also smelled pretty strongly of fish inside the restaurant. I realize that most of their dishes are made with fish, but fresh raw fish shouldn't make the store reek.

Not awful, but probably won't be going again.
