We had the 1.5 combo it was a nice amount of food for a little lunch for two people.
We had 3 onigiri: tuna mayo, tuna épicé & beef-tama. They were warm & very fresh! However, the classic ones were very simple & not that good. I buy better ones from the grocery store with more ingredients & flavor for the same price. The beef-tama one was very good. The egg yoke in it was delicious.
Overall I'm glad I tried it. The food was enjoyable, but I don't think I will come back. I will stick to getting onigiri at the grocery store.
Good service, helpful workers. The rice is great quality & theres loads of option :) i like their soy sauce a lot
Quality really dropped since it opened. Some employees make awfully shapped onigiri with too much rice. Consistently never have the Korean friend chicken onigiri - at this point just remove it from the menu.
Great food, great music & great decor. I went today with my kids (4 & 8), we all left happy & full for $40 overall. We got the ra-yu onigiri (which I didn't find spicy AT ALL tbh but it was still yummy), the avocado onigiri was huge, 2 mini ramen with miso soup base (super yummy) & the vegan onidon. The onidon was great ans super filling. Receiving the food takes a bit cause it's only 1 person doing everything, but his service was impeccable & the food worth waiting.
Place is wildly inconsistent & the staff is not trained to deal with rushes, always order ahead of time.
This week though was something, Wednesday I placed an online order at 5:10, arrive at 5:30 for pickup & it's not ready. I wait 20 minutes, I see my ticket is first but it's ignored, the girl making the rice balls is clearly new, she's a bit lost, asking questions but her guy coworker isnt helping or answering. There's about 10 people in store waiting & he's just taking orders instead of stopping to help her out. He dissapears in the back for a bit, comes back out to take more orders.
At 5:55 I ask for a refund, he says he doesn't have time, but rushes to go my my drink & single rice ball, he gives it to me with a nice sarcastic'are you happy'
So as a tip: Train your staff properly, they're rice balls. It's supposed to be a quick pick up, not an hour. Honestly an'Im sorry we're jammed' would have soothed things over instead of your staff being so rude. Stop taking orders when you're overwhelmed, get your hands in & finish the line of orders especially when your only staff doing it is trying to learn.
Took over 10 minutes to take my order, & another 20+ minutes for the food to be ready. The girl who works there seemed totally lost, felt like she was trying to be difficult & was super rude!!
I tried the tempura mayo onigiri & it was 10/10. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the place & the staff were great!
Freshly sourced ingredients & Friendly staff + handsome neck tatted gentlemen !
First the onigiri are delicious. We would often stop for some quick take-out onigiri after swim practice around 19:50-55. It's never been a problem until recently the employees tell us they are closed. Please clarify your hours of operation.
Very bland, no flavor at all. A lot of rice & bland filling. Ordered the miso beef & it was very dry with no sauce or flavor. Also had the salmon & shrimp onigiri, & they were just as bland.
