Spoke with the owner George really nice guy & let me know he would make this right. This is the way to run a business & appreciate it. More owners should follow how George deals with his customers.

I've been coming to Oni Girl Shop regularly because I enjoy their onigiris & usually have a good experience, which makes this order especially disappointing.

I placed a DoorDash order for 6 onigiris (3 tuna, 2 salmon, & 1 salmon avocado) along with cucumber wakame & shrimp salads. When my order arrived, I only received 4 onigiris instead of 6, & the salads were not what I ordered - I received canned tuna salad instead of the cucumber wakame & shrimp salads.

On top of that, the onigiris I did receive were very disappointing. The rice was hard & stale, & they tasted like they had been sitting for a long time. It honestly felt like I received the leftovers from the end of the day rather than a freshly prepared order.

I tried contacting the store to resolve the issue but could not get a response, & DoorDash was unable to provide a solution. I understand mistakes happen, but missing items, incorrect items, & poor food quality all in the same order is unacceptable.

I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously because I have enjoyed coming here before, but this experience was extremely frustrating. Makes me consider coming back

I went in because it looked empty & ordered my vegan bowl but it became clear after some waiting that the two guys working there were preparing other orders of people who already came & left & came back so it took over 30 minutes to receive my food. It was great & good value but don't expect it to be a quick meal. Maybe they need more staff working at once. Their third staff came in later so maybe she just couldn't make it earlier that day. That being said, the staff were chill & polite & the clientele were friendly. I'd return to try the onigris :)

Ordered the avocado & chicken onigiri & they were both quite good. The two guys working on Sunday were doing the best they could with the constant stream of customers, they probably should have had a third person working though. The water/sauce stations were not replenished, tables weren't cleared & some orders were getting mixed up. The interior is nice, but the few tables filled up quickly, at least there was space outside.

J'ai toujours commandé en ligne, pour la première fois je me dis, why not passer manger sur place.
Je m'assois, je fais mon choix, & puis un dénommé Vincent passe son temps à parler foot avant de prendre notre commande.
On se pose manger, & puis lui & Juliette n'ont pas arrêté de s'échanger des obscénités, de parler fort… pas la meilleure des atmosphères. Je continuerai à commander.

Solid onigiri joint. I've been to Japan many times & these guys know their stuff. The onigiri are fresh & they're wrapped correctly.

I don't think the pricing is unreasonable either given other places on Wellington.

Tomah was awesome! Even though onigiri isnt traditionally made with rice wine vinegar like sushi, they were more than happy to accommodate my request. 5 stars!!!
