Excellent restaurant Plats goûteux & savoureux ; tout est épicé à souhait! J'ai eu un faible pour le saumon mariné, les aubergines & le plateau de canard👌🏾 Desserts : le pain perdu & la crème brûlée au miso étaient excellents & complétaient bien notre repas. Le seul plat un peu décevant est le tartare : il y a trop d'ingrédients, & donc la viande n'est pas mise en valeur. Le reste était top. Belle carte des vins & beaucoup de choix de cocktails Service rapide & efficace. Bonne ambiance, pas trop bruyant!

Excellent repas chinois. Je recommande fortement les champignons & le tartare! La dorade & les pétoncles étaient également très bon. Les nouilles sésame était bonne mais pas extraordinaire (comme le reste). Carte de cocktail signature assez original. L'ambiance est agréable avec les décorations végétales. Seul défaut : les tables sont très serrées & le volume sonore est élevé (difficile de s'entendre... comme beaucoup d'autres places à Montréal). Facture pour 2 personnes: 6 assiettes à partager + 2 cocktails= 170$ (+pourboire). Je recommande & j'y retournerai!
La nourriture était bonne mais ne pas s'attendre à une cuisine traditionnelle chinoise. Certain plats pourraient être plus goûteux (salade de concombre, légumes verts)! Portions relativement petites pour le prix. Bon service! Par contre, vraiment bruyant, difficile de s'entendre parler même seulement à quatre autour d'une table!
Complètement malade on a super bien mangé! Le système de réservation fonctionne à merveille! Les cocktails sont extraordinaires & que dire de la nourriture!!! Soirée parfaite 10/10 on a hâte d'y retourner pour goûter au reste du menu! Merci
Dishes were very good - had the duck, salmon & chow mein. Nice flavours but would prefer the traditional chow mein flavours it was too far from the norm. Also the duck was similar to pecking duck with the pancakes but flavour profile very different. Also prefer pecking duck. Should make these staple dishes more like they usually taste or create completely new dishes !
C est vraiment une déception je m attendais à beaucoup depuis la fermeture du resto chinois tout près le mai lee café sur st Laurent vraiment uncle lee c est même ridicule et prétentieux de ce donner cette note de cuisine chinoise à un prix exorbitant et vraiment pas justifié ! Un chowmein 😩au fruit de mer WoW vas faire un tour dans le chinetownn svp et c est 3 brocolis chinois trop cuit sans ail dans le beurre à un prix supérieur à la moyenne et tout goûte pareil le soya et le vinaigre très prononcé! Pour 150 $ pour 2 avec 2 biere pas trop froides! Ont dirait un vol ! Vraiment! Ça fait 50ans passé que je mange dans tout les resto asiatique de Montréal et d autres pays mais jamais autant déçu d un resto comme ça ! Surestimé vraiment! Sans rancune mais je ne recommande à personne et je vais continuer a mangé au chinetown
The newish Oncle Lee has developed a strong name for itself in a short period of time for a take on Chinese-style dishes. The overall ambiance when you enter Oncle Lee is warm & inviting, with the exposed brick wall contrasting against the deep red Chinese lanterns setting a very unique vibe. The menu is tight & not necessarily what you'd expect from a typical Chinese restaurant & here is where I need to point out that this is not a Chinese restaurant in a classical sense but a restaurant serving strongly inspired Chinese dishes. The portions are relatively small for sharing (again, a difference from the Chinatown restos) & you should be prepared to order multiples of the same if you are a large party. For our meal we Deviled Eggs (good), Fried Calamari (excellent...very good batter & sauce), the Scallops with XO Sauce (very good), Sweet & Sour Eggplant (very good & tasty), Sautéed Greens (good but not especially flavorful), Garlic Fried Rice (very good but for rice the portion was far too small), Crispy Noodle Seafood Chow Mein (very good), & the 5-Spice Duck Platter (good but not the typical Beijing version you may have had) & ending with the French Toast with Ice Cream (very good but a little out of place in a Chinese-style restaurant. Service was extremely friendly, helpful & attentive & we never had to want for anything on that front. Enjoy!
3.5/5 overall, the atmosphere & service were great but expect the food portions to be small for the value. The flavours aren't really tailored to the Asian demographic either; some of the dishes seem to be doused in sauces that take away the original flavour of the food vs elevating it (ie. was not a big fan of the tofu with caramelized onion that came in a paste format, sautéed veggies doused in buttery sauce or the ribs that had too much sauce) but really enjoyed the garlic fried rice & French toast dessert. It might also be helpful for the dishes to be more descriptive, as there are no pictures on the menu.
Food is by Chinese standards mediocre with an open mind. Average service. More of a bar than a restaurant. Deafening noise from next table since they yell at top of their lungs. Just a heads up if you're not into loud people. &'1 of 50 new best restaurants whatever' before its opening is just amusing & marketing strategy.

Wow première fois & surtout pas la dernière, soupe wong ton, calmars crevettes & tartare de boeuf Wow ! Les entrées étaient incroyable ! Repas : steak avec os à la moelle avec chow mein, tout était excellent, le vin aussi. Service 5* , intérieur bruyant ,moi j'adore ses vivant ça bouge ! Quelle belle expérience
The food was amazing! The service was on point! Atmosphere was cool! But i give this restaurant a 3 star as it's not budget friendly! For the price the portions are too small! If ur going on a date it's fine. But for a family of four with children nope! Not for hearty eaters either! Mind urself if ur hungry don't go ! Otherwise it was a nice experience! Oh & can u plz add chicken on the menu as we had only fish & duck ( duck too pricey) to choose from as we don't eat pork or beef!
Pas de chaise bébé disponible ? Aucun problème ! Un membre de l'équipe part spécialement nous en chercher une dans l'un des restos du groupe. Waw ! Excellent accueil vraiment & la nourriture est succulente. On revient c'est sûr.

Mon restaurant préféré vient d'être détrôné. Oncle Lee a maintenant la première place 🏆de mon palais gustatif. Les cocktails & tous les plats étaient excellents, TOUS des 5/5 👌 Deux plats se sont démarqués & ont été notre coup de coeur à l'unanimité: (1) J'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner pour ses nouilles épicées au sésame, un délice. Je me suis retenue de lécher le bol. (2) Que dire du tartare de boeuf 🥰. Fait important: je ne mange pas de tartare de boeuf. La plus belle experience d'explosion de saveurs & textures en bouche que je n'ai jamais gouté. On aurait dû en commander deux. Gardez vous de la place pour le dessert: le pain perdu, rien à voir avec celui de votre grand-mère. Une expérience gustative à ne pas manquer. Le service était impeccable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ un staff courtois & souriant malgré une salle pleine à craquer & un line up à l'extérieur en continu. Un +: la déco 🏮🏮👏🏻 La lumière rouge des lanternes nous donne à tous un superbe filtre naturel, tout le monde est beau & ça ajoute à l'ambiance & l'expérience unique. Conseil: il n'y a pas de réservation possible, faut passer & laisser son nom. Nous avions environ 1.5h d'attente. Donc prévoyez le coup. De beaux restos bar à proximité, ça nous fait redécouvrir ce coin du quartier qui semblait revivre avec l'ouverture d'Oncle Lee 🙌 Félicitations au chef, mon cher Oncle Lee, vous cuisinez avec amour & passion & ça se goûte. Bien hâte de voir ce que vous nous réservez dans l'évolution de votre menu.
If you live in the area you cannot skip on this place. Every single item on the menu is absolutely delicious, my personal favorite is the Duck! Every meal left me craving for more I had keep asking for another menu! See you next week!
