This is our absolute favorite restaurant. It is authentic Spanish food, consistently delicious. The service is always courteous. Their selection of gins & gin based drinks is fabulous.
In my humble opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in Montreal. Respecting the trend on the menu, makes true reference to Spanish cuisine, which in short is the goal!

Friendly staff. Really nice atmosphere (colourful, cozy, clean). I would think the summertime would also be fabulous with the terrace open too. A wide range of dishes on the menu. 4 tapas portions shared between 2 of us were filling enough & left room for dessert. We had the lamb skewer, meatballs & potatoes in sherry sauce, lemon shrimp, blood sausage on toast, creme brulee, almond cake; we tried our table mates' calamari, mushrooms, Spanish cheese. We really enjoyed all the dishes with the meats/calamari being tender & all of the foods being yummy without being repetitious of flavours amongst the various items. In the market (mercado) section, you can find some items of Spanish origin (black garlic, oils, seasonings, meats, chips, beverages, ....). I'll be going back!!
Ole is a fantastic restaurant. My wife & I have been going regularly for a few years now & have never been disappointed. A great family run place, with outstanding, authentic Spanish. The new location has kept that great intimate feel that we enjoy so much. We will be back again very soon.
Great location! Great service! Awesome food!!! Pretty interior evoking a Spanish vibe, nice spacious terrace overlooking the canal. Our server was the owner's daughter, Jasmine, extremely knowledgeable & pleasant. great sélection of Tapas & Spanish wines. A must try!!!!

Great Spanish tapas & location on the water is amazing. We loved the cheese & jamon platters, grilled shrimp & octopus. Family-owned with really great service. You need to reserve.

Our most recent visit coincided with Christopher, "oyster shucker" par excellence, doing his thing with these perfect mollusks from P.E.I., we managed 30 of those critters between us two. We left not a single grain of inky stained rice of the Paella con Pulpo, our main course. In the kitchen the word is Spanish.
Owner/chef Paco & his crew serve a changing variety of cold & hot tapas & of course Paella, all delicious, authentic.
Service is personal & efficient. Margo who manages the dining room, will greet you like a regular, even on your first visit.
Michelin would say "worth a detour".
Always a wonderful authentic Spanish experience.
Food is amazing & so is their Sangria.
Staff always makes you feel so welcomed.
Really fun place to try.
I know of no other Spanish Restaurant in Montreal as authentic & consistently excellent in its quality on the plate.
We are regular guests & leave happy with the experience every time.

We were 3 & we selected 8 different tapas. The highlights were the spanish olives, cod croquettes, the tiger shrimp & grilled octopus, which were all excellent.
The lamb skewer was a little too chewy & the sauté of mushrooms was just okay if a little too oily. We had to give multiple reminders for water, as we were quite thirsty from the salty, but overall satisfying meal.
What a treat to find this gem in Sainte Anne de Bellevue.
My wife & I have had the pleasure of enjoying Spanish cuisine in Spain. & have been disappointed in some Spanish restaurants. But Olé was a great surprise. Paco & his daughter Jasmin have brought the authentic taste from Spain to Canada !!!
The Pata Negra was astounding! Authentic Croquetas! & the Pulpo made me feel like we were back in Galicia. My greatest surprise was the "Pimientos Padrones" we never expected to be enjoying them outside of Spain.

Unbelievable Spanish tapas! Grilled octopus is amazing, so tender. The olives they bring as an amuse-bouche are delish.. the chorizo.. oh my. YUMMY! Everything was great actually. The staff is super friendly & very attentive. Would go back in a heartbeat! Do make reservations, this place is popular!
Visit Ole Tapas for a great authentic spanish dining experience. Amazing food, tapas, not to mention the wonderful hospitality extended by the owners. One of our favorite restaurants hands down!!!
