We went to Ole for the first time to see our friend Kimberly Beyea perform. They have live music every Thursday night on the terrace. It was raining, but the terrace was covered, & the seating was comfortable. The food was amazing. We had their signature calamari with a delicious fresh garlic sauce. We also had the potato omelette, which came with a side salad. Incredible. The dessert was an exquisite homemade sweet brioche with fresh fruit & dulce de leche, which was enjoyed with a cappuccino. The staff was very friendly & attentive. I would recommend making a reservation, as it is a very popular spot. We met the executive chef & owner, Nikolas, who was very friendly & gracious. It's impressive that he previously cooked alongside Gordon Ramsay's team in Las Vegas for eight years! There are so many menu choices, & I'm looking forward to returning soon to try their Paella.
Service was definitely not what we were expecting. The server told us we ordered too much food which we thought was very odd thing to say.. we had to try a few times to get waiters attention because he didn't check on us. When we finished a plate of food, they wouldn't come pick up the empty plates. The fried calamari were good & paella was good also. However the salad was underwhelming. The bread with cherry tomatoes was bland. The Spanish omelette wasn't done right & it was drenched in a mayo garlic sauce. The cod fritters had an odd texture inside.
Très belle découverte ! J'ai adoré ce restaurant espagnol. La paella était absolument délicieuse, préparée avec des produits frais & ça se ressent vraiment au goût. Les potatoes épicées étaient aussi excellentes, parfaitement assaisonnées & pleines de saveurs.
Un merci tout particulier à Sarna, notre serveuse. C'était son premier jour & malgré cela, elle a pris soin de nous avec beaucoup d'attention & de gentillesse. Son service a vraiment contribué à rendre notre expérience encore plus agréable.
Un grand merci également au chef, qui a été très attentif tout au long du repas & qui a eu la gentillesse de nous offrir un dessert. Ce petit geste a vraiment été apprécié & a rendu notre expérience encore plus spéciale. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

We were celebrating a birthday & we just decided to pop into Olé Tapas
1) Immediately we passed the bar area, it felt like we entered another world - the colors, the decor, the art, the location - exquisite!
2) Miguel, our server, was amazing. (all the servers were friendly). It was our first time at a Tapas-style restaurant, he was patient & very knowledgeable. He gave us recommendations & explanations.
He also told us about the Bed Race happening in St Anne that day (which we enjoyed later that day)
3) We had the Seafood Paella & it was delicious!!! Shared among the 3 of us & there was plenty to go around. Every bite held flavor.
4) Oh Chef, it was an honor meeting him. It was never on my bucket list to be served by a Chef but wow, I added this to my bucket list & checked it right off.
Chef treated my party & I like royalty. He came around, asked for feedback on our paella, chatted with us.
& for dessert, Chef came to our rescue. He asked if we trusted him to blow our palettes off & we were glad we did.
Chef made his special Churritos in-house for us (at zero cost). We could see him whipping up the magic.
The Churritos was delicious. We could have licked off the tray, if possible.
4) We left Olé with so much joy in our hearts. We are full (tummy), satisfied, & more than that, we felt rich to have experienced the care, the love, & professionalism shown by this establishment.
5) Chef had no idea we were celebrating a birthday that day & this dining experience was the perfect way to celebrate.
Thank you Chef, Thank you Miguel, Thank you Olé. It's an experience we will never forget🙏🏿 🙏🏿, we look forward to Olé again.
Ole has quickly become our go-to summer terrasse! Friendly staff, vibrant atmosphere, & endless delicious tapas dishes to try. Great for young children too. Highly recommend the seafood paella (Marisco) & the cava sangria.
The Paella de Marisco did not disappoint! Large shrimp, mussels, calamari, squid all served in a beautiful rich & complex boldly seasoned Bomba rice!
The olives were outstanding!
Highly recommend. We will return!
Ole Tapas is a hidden gem. It's a small, welcoming space that was buzzing on a Saturday night. You can feel the pride in the kitchen.
Chef Nik came by our table several times & his passion shows in every dish. This is real Spanish food that has not been Americanized.
We feasted on:
- Tabla Carne: Massive portion that easily feeds 3. The meat was tender & the potatoes were to die for.
- Paella de Carne: Authentic & flavorful
- Boquerones & Pan con Tomate: Fresh & traditional
- Ensalada à la Andaluza: Very fresh & good
- Margaritas: Excellent & well balanced
- Dessert: A unique churros type batter with confit fruit & dark chocolate sauce that was to die for
Needless to say we will definitely be returning. 10/10!
