First time at ole tapas restaurant. A great step up in an authentic Spanish culinary experience. The chef & the staff are amazing. The advised really well. Octopus a definite must have! Champagne sangria also amazing & refreshing. Highly recommend.
We had one of the best meals we have had in Montreal. The grilled calamari was done to perfection, the garlic bread with tomato & Manchego cheese was fantastic. The staff was amazing, the decor is perfect & the music helps transports you to Spain. We were able to talk with the chef & you can see how passionate he is to serve fantastic authentic Spanish tapas & dishes. Trust me you will have a fantastic meal here. We are already think of when we can go back. Oh by the way, be sure to order the Ole Sangria, it is simply the best one I have ever had.
This place is really just OK… nice location & view. Probably ok if you want to just have a beer & sangria on a terrace with some apps. If you're looking for anything more, this is probably not the place. Food was overly salted & not so tasty. Some menu items are misleading. I ordered what I thought was chorizo & ended up with a pizza (no sign of the chorizo). Some items are way overpriced. Most expensive mussels I've ever seen (double the price of any other restaurant for the same portion) & the sauces were off. Waiter brought all of our tapas at once, completely crowded the tiny table they gave us & made things very uncomfortable. I ordered a martini & got a glass of green foamy olive juice (which I sent back…). The staff is inexperienced & that's quite obvious. Don't charge fine dining pricing if you can't deliver on the experience.
I love this restaurant. Amazing Spanish food & lots of options to choose from. The service could be a bit slow on busy days, but it's worth it! The sangrias are delicious too!

Comida deliciosas, paellas sabrosas, captura totalmente la esencia espanola, nunca había probado una sangria tan rica en Montreal, muy agradecido con el chef Nikolas por su atención y servicio.
This place was wonderful ! We had Paella which was delicious ! The fried calamari was also delicious. Everyone in our party of 12 was very happy with their choices of tapas. The server was very friendly & courteous & oh by the way the sangria was excellent ! It was our first time eating there & won't be our last !
Definitely one of the best places in Sainte-Anne. Food is outstanding & there is always a nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed the octopus, calamari & paella. My wife loved the sangria. Service can improve as well as the pan tumaca.

J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de dîner à **Olé Tapas Bistro**, & je dois dire que c'était une expérience incroyable ! J'ai goûté la **Gallega** - un délicieux plat de patatas bravas avec des crevettes sautées dans de l'huile d'olive & de l'ail. Les portions étaient très généreuses, parfaites pour partager ou à savourer seul. Leur **sangria** est incontournable - honnêtement, la meilleure de la ville ! L'ambiance était festive & animée, ce qui a ajouté à l'expérience globale, & le service était professionnel & rapide. Ils ont également une terrasse chauffée si vous préférez vous asseoir à l'extérieur, ce qui est un plus, surtout quand il fait plus frais. C'était ma première visite, mais j'ai déjà hâte de revenir dans quelques semaines avec des amis. Je recommande vivement !
**Overall, we loved it:** We had a great Sunday lunch with the family. The service was excellent & quick, just what you'd expect from a good Taberna. The head chef is very engaged & takes the time to greet guests at the door, adding a personal touch to the experience. The seafood tapas (shrimps, fried calamari, marinated anchovies) were perfectly cooked & well balanced. The shrimp were fresh & tender, & the calamari were well-seasoned, crispy, & not greasy-some of the best I've tried in all of Montreal. The Bacalao croquetas were spot on & comparable to what you'd be served in Spain. We liked them so much that we re-ordered. The cheese platter, though a bit pricey, was really good & would make a great starter along with their Sangria. The tortilla de patatas was average; I think there's room for improvement here. The bottom was burnt, & the texture was dry & crumbly-overcooked. The pan con tomate was disappointing. The bread didn't stand out (it felt store-bought), & the tomatoes weren't fresh & tasted as if they were mixed with spices or condiments. It's a simple tapa that should have been executed better. Unfortunately, the grilled chicken skewers were not up to par. I wouldn't recommend them. They were dry, lacked seasoning, & didn't taste fresh or made to order.
Olé Tapas, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue! Une expérience inoubliable. «CROQUETTES PARTY PLATTER» $46 UN DÉLICE pour deux! Un service impeccable. La Sangria cava parfaite. Expresso & dessert excellents.La vue agréable. Terrasse protégée du soleil. Musique un peu trop forte, un petit peu.
We went for a girls' lunch. We were seated on the terrace which would be so much nicer if there was not the large awning blocking the sun & if there were more greenery around. We started with sangria which was very nice but was lacking in fruit. The food on the other hand was delicious. The croquets were very flavorful, the calamari was amazing & light tasting & the potato with shrimp dish was very good with just the right amount of spice. I thoroughly enjoyed the mushrooms with smoked paprika. I will definitely go back.
The last time we were at Ole Tapas was about 2-3 years ago. Don't get me wrong, the food was ok, but not as good as the last time. Not too many patrons in the restaurant. Maybe it's because the menu was more professional, but I really think that food just isn't as good. Ordered the red wine sangria, but it lacked fruit, only 2 slices of oranges & wasn't strong at all. Also, for a Spanish Tapas restaurant, they didn't even have grilled sardines. We mentioned this to the waitress, but no body asked us why. I don't think we will go back.
The food was EXTREMELY good & the service was impeccable!!! We had the paella, the grilled calamari, the croqueras de baccalao & the sangria & it was amazing. Chef Nico answered our questions & you could tell he put all his heart in his work. We will be back, thank you!
They need to improve the bechamel amount in the croquetas & add jam croquetas to the Menu. It will be nice if they can get Estrella de Galicia or 1906 beer which are one the best around the world . Wonderful Sangria. Wonderful place for sharing with friends or your girlfriend.
