Nyks Bistro Pub apparaît comme une halte conviviale et chaleureuse au cœur de Montréal, mêlant l'ambiance pub et une cuisine soignée avec des plats comme le confit de canard en poutine, les moules et d'autres spécialités créatives. Les avis convergent sur la qualité des aliments, les portions généreuses et un service attentif et efficace, même lors des soirées très fréquentées; l'atmosphère peut être animée et un peu bruyante mais reste accueillante et cosy, idéale pour sortir entre amis ou pour un repas tardif après le spectacle. La carte des boissons est variée avec d'excellents cocktails et bières locales, et le rapport qualité prix est souvent jugé favorable compte tenu de la qualité. En somme Nyks Bistro Pub est une adresse fiable et populaire, qui donne envie de revenir, malgré le bruit et la foule à certaines heures.
We stopped in here on a whim after walking the streets & browsing the stores. The food was delicious & the service was fast & friendly, it was however a little noisy, but it was almost 10 pm & there's was a younger crowd starting fill the place. Definitely recommend

J'ai passé une excellente soirée dans ce resto. Dès l'arrivée, on sent une vraie attention aux détails & un désir sincère de faire vivre une belle expérience aux clients.
Benoit, le propriétaire, est vraiment sur la coche : présent, chaleureux, toujours à s'assurer que tout est parfait. On sent qu'il fait ça avec passion.
Max, le barman, offre un service impeccable, professionnel & super sympathique. On se sent tout de suite à l'aise.
& le saganaki… wow.
Le fromage kefalo flambé au brandy est autant un spectacle qu'un pur plaisir en bouche. Un must.
Bref, une équipe solide, une ambiance accueillante & une cuisine qui donne envie de revenir.
Je recommande sans hésiter 👌
It's been nearly 10 years since my first visit to Nyk's Bistro. This place is an institution, it is a must if you ever visit Montreal or are a local looking for a lowkey experience that feels like fine dining. They have managed to create an atmosphere that feels high end, but retains reasonable prices alongside immaculate quality. The atmosphere is superb, striking a balance between a classic Irish pub & a fine dining establishment! I cannot recommend this place enough. I am very pleased that Nyk's is not only still in business, but thriving!!!
The food doesn't look that great, but the taste & smell more than make up for it. I recommend making a reservation because it was very busy. The atmosphere is nice, & the waiters are great too. The beer is the best I've had in Montreal. It's a really good place in terms of quality & price.

We came across this spot on our first night in Montréal & it immediately set the tone for the trip. The atmosphere was honestly really cozy, welcoming, & full of that effortless Montréal charm. Our server, Amélie was truly wonderful, so kind, patient, & full of great recommendations. You can feel when service comes from the heart, & hers absolutely did.
The food was incredible - very fresh, flavourful, & clearly made with care. Their specials & salads are next level & the mussels + fries combo was perfect. Everything came out beautifully plated & tasted even better than it looked. The portions were also very generous, & the whole place was clean, warm with a relaxed & elevated vibe.
We loved it so much the first time around that we came back again a second time! If you're visiting Montréal & want a late-night spot with great energy, delicious food, & friendly staff, this place is a must! Highly recommend!
Nice experience overall with good food in a city vibe. Very professional waitstaff. It's an extremely noisy environnement with no sound deadening - with everyone at all tables basically needing to shout to be heard by their tablemates. Not my favorite atmosphere, but I'd still recommend - especially if you don't mind noise. I say, try it & see if it's your style.
Good food but terrible service, would rate that metric at zero stars if possible. Finished my first beer before we were tended to for our food order. Advised staff I wanted to pay bill in cash &, whilst I appreciate tipping in customary in Canada & was going to tip due to nice food, we were pressured into a larger tip than what was warranted due to the waiter bringing over a card machine to show us what we'should tip'. I hope that this was a one off experience as we would recommend the food.

Went here with 4 friends earlier today! We had the pleasure of having Mike as our bartender. Genuinely gave us an unforgettable experience for our first time in Montreal! He killed it all night with all the other guests too & went above & beyond the whole time!
Definitely a place I would recommend to go to, super friendly staff, good food & amazing drinks 🙏🏼
Maïthé gave us an amazing service. A M A Z I N G. Loved my experience here. definitely recommend for a date night or even a spot to chill with friends. 10/10 !
Not really pub & not really great dinning it was okay. It's too bad the streak sauce wasn't served on the side as the steak would have been better off. The reason I do not recommend is the service. Uninterested in your business at best. Spend your cash somewhere else.

Amazing service late at night. Very friendly staff that can accommodate to any customers needs. Would highly recommend if you are in the Montréal area!
We had an excellent experience here! We ordered a steak with fries & beans. The dish was delicious & the sauce was fabulous. We also ordered an Aperol Spritz. Service was good & everyone was attentive. I would recommend it!
Premiere fois que je viens au nyks & juste dire que Julien & Big Papa sont probablemt les serveurs/bartender les plus agreable de l'île de montreal Mega professionnel & peu importe la question que tu as ils ont la reponse. Ils ont une enorme panoplie d'alcool different & sont tres conaisseurs dans tout ce qu'ils offrent. Je recommande a tout le monde! If you want to have a good time come see Julien & Big Papa & you will have the best time ever! One love guys!
