Busy Chinese noodle shop with a cozy interior dishing up housemade hand stretched noodles in a variety of broths, Lan Zhou style. Directly across from McGill university. Delivery by Uber.
delicious hand-pulled noodle restaurant! It seems like it's always very busy so expect to wait & share a table. I got a small beef soup, which was the perfect portion for a late lunch, but I'd probably recommend the medium! As a visitor to Montreal, this was a perfect first meal on a chilly day.
If you're looking for hand pulled noodles in a tasty broth this is the place. The portions are very generous (try the'large' soup, it's basically a baby bath size bowl). Expect lineups at lunch as there's only seating for 25 people & be prepared to share a table with other patrons. Hands down this place is superior to Nouilles de Lanzhou. Still the best hand pulled noodles in the city!
Charming little noodle place.
Really compact inside.
Great little spot if you like Langzou style noodles! I recommend it!
This place seems pretty popular & crowded at meal times. There was even a long lineup for this place.
So I recommend going a little early before lunch or supper time because otherwise, youre gonna wait in a lineup.
We visited during lunchtime, & it was pretty busy, so we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Luckily, you can place your order while waiting, which was convenient because you barely wait once you sit down. We got the large Special Lanzhou beef noodle combo (19.58 CAD), & even though we were super hungry, it was more than enough to fill us up. The flavors were great, & we really appreciate everything being homemade. Will come back for sure!

Small chinese restaurant who make their fresh noodles on the spot. Better order ahead since the waiting area is very small. Especially in winter you might have to start waiting outside. Students from McGill usually flood the place at lunch time.
I came here for lunch. Loved the noodles here. Fresh hand-pulled noodles in a rich tasteful broth. The service is quite efficient. The food came out fast. The downside of this place is that at peak hours, you have to line up, & if you are less than 4 people, you will have to share a table. There is also no place to put your coat & bag. Payment is by cash or debit only.
Excellent fresh Chinese noodles, made on the spot. The food is of excellent quality, & I really liked the beef. However, for lunch, a place crowded with people, plan to eat at a table with other people. But I'd definitely recommend the restaurant for eat-in or take-away. A great discovery.
Very very delicious noodle soup. It's quite greasy/oily. There's usually a wait around lunch time. We were asked to sit at a table with another person, which we didn't mind.
