I went for the 1st time to restaurant Zante last night with my boyfriend. It was amazing, service excellent always with a smile, food & atmosphere very good.

We had dinner on a Sunday night with friends. We ordered the 3 spreads to start which was just a little under $30. There must've been 1 ounce of each spread with a few pieces of pita. As a born & bred Greek, I can tell you that Greeks are generous with their food. This was not my experience. The octopus dish was a disappointment, very dry. The main dishes were OK. The staff & service was decent. It was not what I expected.
Firstly, I would like to point out all the fake google reviews or trolls trying to make Zante look bad because of the video online that was rooted in impulse & fatigue.
I have been a client here for over 10 years & never have I had a bad experience with the food nor with the staff, it was always wonderful.
As for the racist trolls trying to destroy Zantes reputation because of a unfortunate video circulating, you all should know that the restaurant, owners & staff do not have a political stance whatsoever when it comes to the Middle East & welcome everyone from all backgrounds!
It is very difficult seeing these fake reviews trying to destroy such a hard working team that has been a Montreal staple for this 20 years.
The food here is great & oh my god the staff is incredible my food came so fast & they are so nice they treat you amazing i had a little kid & they started playing peek a boo with him i loved this experience i will definitely come back here with friends & family, oh & idk what these people are saying it is not dirty or anything that the one star reviews say trust me go to zante!!!
Food is great, many different options. Workers gave great service as-well & our food was served quickly. Overall amazing experience & great atmosphere, it was very clean, friendly, & a perfect place in the centre of downtown mtl.
This food is amazing, the workers are kind & the service is impeccable, our food came out quick & there are so many food options there really is something for everyone, the spot is also amazing right in downtown montreal, the inside is beyond clean & so organized, if you are thinking of going I really do recommend it I definitely will be returning & recommending to all friends & family!!
It was mistake coming to this restaurant. It was the worst service ever so expensive. The food is frozen. People are smoking inside. Bathroom door is not working. The staff was angry on one of the customer because he didn't leave a tip, save your money & go somewhere else.
