It's the kind of place where the ambiance makes you want to settle in & stay a while. The food, however, is the real star of the show. Every dish is remarkably fresh & packed with authentic, delicious flavors that show a high level of culinary craft. Between the lively downtown vibe & the top-tier Mediterranean cuisine, it's easily one of the best spots in the area for a memorable meal.
This restaurant is new to us. Sofitel recommended it & we were not disappointed. In fact, it is now on our list of must go places when we are in Montreal. Excellent fresh ingredients, simply but ingeniously prepared. If you want perfectly prepared fish, you must go. The best salad we've ever had - romaine ribbons, green unions, dill & feta. Sounds simply but it was outstanding!

Visiting for my first time Montreal coming from Greece, to be in a greek restaurant is always a big bet cause you always expect something'similar' to greek food , the food which is similar to your tastes. It was the biggest surprise for my tasty experience. The food was divine!!! The greek salad fresh in a big portion, the fried kalamari & the fried aubergine & zucchini with tzatziki sauce unbelievable!! The chops juicy melted in your mouth. The boiled octapus & the steamed shrimps unique. Zante s owner & chef are the best ambassadors of the greek food in Canada. As native greek i am so proud of their job & effort!! Congratulations! You deserve every star of my review ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?

What a restaurant.. These people know what they're doing. This is the most Greek authentic food you can get in Montreal when it comes to Greek Mediterranean food. The flavors are robust & vibrant, perfectly capturing the essence of Greece. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that transports you straight to a taverna on a sun-soaked island. The service is impeccable, with staff who are passionate about the cuisine & eager to share their recommendations. Each dish is crafted with fresh ingredients & traditional recipes, making it a culinary experience that is hard to match. Don't forget to try their homemade zukini with tzatziki deep ,tge octapus akd lambchops they are simply divine! Been going to Zante for years , service , food , & atmosphere always top notch. Food always absolutely fresh & always prepared to perfection. Service perfect ! staff comes frequently but never too frequently. Atmosphere is very pleasant, never noisy which adds to to the experience as you are able to hear everyone at your table & carry a normal conversation, that is something that lacks in many restaurants were noise level is unbearable.
My friends & I had a truly exceptional dining experience at Restaurant Zante! The food is remarkably fresh & bursting with flavor - the quality is consistently high. What truly sets this place apart however, is the outstanding service. The owner Costa & the manager Duli, are incredibly friendly, attentive, & ensure that every guest feels welcome. Five stars aren't enough - I highly recommend Zante to anyone seeking a fantastic meal in a warm & inviting atmosphere!

The service was good , I have good restrictions & they were very careful, impressive . We sat on the terrace & the heaters made it very comfortable

Sprung an over priced Pre-Fix menu on us at the table. With weak & limmtted offerings.
The crab cakes were so dry & stuffed with filling it should have been called - Breadcrumb cakes.
The Salmon Tartare, was not fresh & not edible, However the presentation was very nice.
Greek Restaurant & NO GREEK RED WINES - really ?
The white wine, a Assyrtiko was served warm - not even room temp. When I mentioned this they brought over a glass of ice with no apology.
Told them, on my second glass if they could chill it that would be great.
Second glass comes - WARM with a glass of ice.
The Tzatziki was very good & the sever was pleasant - although the warm white wine debacle was on her.
Not a chance we would ever be back which is a shame with all the business entertaining I do downtown.
There are simply to many choices -mediterranean or other to waist on a place that needs to elevate to reach mediocrity.
Great food & ambiance on the terrace. The service was efficient & friendly. The fish was perfectly cooked & the salads were fresh & tasty. Good value as well
It is a superb restaurant...very comfortable seating & excellent staff. Food very fresh - seafood well prepared & lamb chops perfect. We will return for sure. Also it has a good vibe with DJ & party kicking in after the dining experience

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were 4 & ordered the grilled vegetables & the calamari as appetizers, & had the grilled octopus, sea bass & grilled shrimp as our main meals. Everything was fresh & delicious & our bottle of Greek white wine was the perfect accompaniment. Friendly service throughout. An excellent evening!
Had a great meal of perfectly cooked sea bass, perfectly cooked vegetable (still dreaming of their potatoes!) & started with a fresh from the garden Greek salad.Sat on their lovely terrace. Great evening with attentive service.
You can't go wrong at Zantes! The food is fresh & prepared perfectly. Service is attentive, & the cocktails wonderful. The Greek white wine, Emphasis, recommended by our waiter, was delicious. A bit loud for a business dinner, but great for any other occasion!
Zante was outstanding. The menu is diverse, the portions enormous (& delicious), the service attentive & friendly, & the people watching interesting. The Greek salad is wonderfully fresh & big enough for two people. The crab cake appetizer is big enough to be a main & the cakes are all crab meat. The grilled octopus also was large enough to be a main, & was perfectly cooked & tender. The veal chop was outstanding. & the dessert (Greek donuts with honey) were delectable. We definitely will return on our next visit to Montreal.
A must in Montresl! This is one of the best resturants in Montresl. The food, service , ambiance is outstanding!. This is what a diming experience should be. The food is so fresh,it melts in your mouth. The service is so professional. It will always be on my list & first stop when I am in Montreal.
