La cuisine méditerranéenne est fraîche et inventive, chaque plat affichant un vrai savoir-faire et des saveurs authentiques, des fruits de mer et du poisson parfaitement préparés, et des salades généreuses et bien présentées. Le service est attentif et professionnel, le cadre convivial et les plats servis avec soin font de Zante l'une des meilleures adresses de la ville. Quelques retours signalent parfois du bruit lors de grands groupes et un niveau de prix élevé, mais l'ensemble demeure une expérience mémorable qui donne envie de revenir.
One of the best greek restaurants in the city, & underrated in my opinion. The food & service at Zante are consistently good. They have a DJ sometimes which adds to the ambiance. Great restaurant for a date or just casual dining. I highly recommend. Keep up the great work guys.
Dinner at Zante last week with a group of 6 & everything was delicious. Greek salad, zucchini special, crab cakes, octopus, calamari, & sea bass were all outstanding.
Tiramisu, Greek yogurt dessert, & the loukoumades were the perfect ending.
Great cocktails, wine, service, & ambiance. Highly recommend.

The food was FINE! But this is very basic greek food, good but nothing wonderful nor memorable. As a result, the prices are just outrageous. $44 for an appetizer portion of Octopus with a few bits of pepper/onion or $46 for 3 shrimp, 2 potatoes & 10 green beans - are NOT it. The food isn't bad but for those prices you better be the best Greek food I've ever had & this felt like something I could make myself with a few greek spices. The waitress also didn't seem like she wanted to be there & would cut off us mid sentence. We were the only people there on a Sunday night & you could tell they just wanted us to leave.
Visiting for my first time Montreal coming from Greece, to be in a greek restaurant is always a big bet cause you always expect something'similar' to greek food , the food which is similar to your tastes. It was the biggest surprise for my tasty experience. The food was divine!!! The greek salad fresh in a big portion, the fried kalamari & the fried aubergine & zucchini with tzatziki sauce unbelievable!! The chops juicy melted in your mouth. The boiled octapus & the steamed shrimps unique. Zante s owner & chef are the best ambassadors of the greek food in Canada. As native greek i am so proud of their job & effort!! Congratulations! You deserve every star of my review ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?
It was good but we felt it was a bit overpriced for what we received. We had the shrimp which was a main but it didn't include any sides, just three pieces of shrimp on a plate. We also had pasta which was pretty plain. The Greek salad on the other hand was excellent.
We went to Zante for my aunts birthday, we were 11 people. They have a'set menu' 80$ per person. They put appetizers on the table to share then everyone picks their own main out of some choices. We waited so long to get the appetizers, one of them was the Greek salad so that should have been quick. No joke like 45 minutes until we got some food. Everything was visually pleasing but didn't satisfy. The waitress was really nice but when it was time to pay & we asked for split bills & her annoyance was spread across her face. She ended up confirming everyone's orders ( each couple ordered their own drinks ) then came back 25 minutes later & stated that any party over 10 people they don't split bills it's too complicated. It was a big turn off. As a waitress the first thing you should ask before anything is if it's just 1 bill or separate. I could have gone back there & done the math. We ended up just averaging the amount each of us had to pay & putting it on the machine separately but come on.
What a restaurant.. These people know what they're doing. This is the most Greek authentic food you can get in Montreal when it comes to Greek Mediterranean food. The flavors are robust & vibrant, perfectly capturing the essence of Greece. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that transports you straight to a taverna on a sun-soaked island. The service is impeccable, with staff who are passionate about the cuisine & eager to share their recommendations. Each dish is crafted with fresh ingredients & traditional recipes, making it a culinary experience that is hard to match. Don't forget to try their homemade zukini with tzatziki deep ,tge octapus akd lambchops they are simply divine! This is not just a restaurant; it's a love letter to the Mediterranean, & a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Greek cuisine.
Sat outside & had the Greek salad & the fried zucchini, both amazing. Lots of fish dishes & lamb chops looked good. With several apps - very large - & several glasses of wine the bill was $110 total. & on a mild evening the setting on Sherbrooke is very pleasant. For an informal dinner one of the best we've had in Montreal.
Greek restaurant located in Le Cantlie Hotel, I would say probably one of the best Greek restaurant I've been to. The atmosphere was outstanding, & kept getting better. DJ was on fire; service was perfect - very friendly people. The food was perfectly made; very tasty & no need to say anything about the drinks. Highly recommended for group parties🥳
