Le personnel est majoritairement perçu comme professionnel et accueillant, et le vestiaire ainsi que la sécurité obtiennent des retours positifs, surtout lors des soirées très demandées où le billet VIP est recommandé pour plus de confort. Le coût des boissons est souvent jugé élevé et l’organisation peut varier selon les soirées, surtout quand c’est sold out. Malgré cela, l’endroit est loué pour son agencement à plusieurs niveaux, son espace de danse généreux et sa capacité à accueillir des soirées thématiques ou des concerts intenses. En somme, New City Gas est une référence du nightlife montréalais, offrant des expériences spectaculaires tout en appelant à une meilleure gestion des flux lors des gros événements.
Unreal experience at New City Gas! The production, sound system, & lighting are next level, & the atmosphere is unmatched. The crowd energy is amazing, & the venue is well organized despite how busy it gets.
Staff & security are professional, & everything runs smoothly. One of the best electronic music venues I've been to in Montreal, highly recommend!

One of my favourite venues for music events! The washroom stalls are nothing special, but there's a common fountain for everyone to wash their hands. It's really cool. It has 2 levels. The bottom level is like a lounge; it is not intimate. The top level is like a warehouse; high ceilings & more of space to dance. Only downside about this space is that it gets really crowded at sold out shows; this could also be because that oversell some shows. They need better crowd control.
New City Gas is honestly one of the best nightlife spots in Montreal. The atmosphere is electric the moment you walk in-great lighting, amazing sound, & a vibe that instantly puts you in a good mood. The DJs always deliver, & the music quality is next-level, whether it's a big-name artist or a themed night. The staff are friendly, professional & keep everything running smoothly along with the security!!
***I am happy to remove or change my review to 5 stars once the coat check system is fixed Putting a 1 star review to complain about the new coat check system that was put in place. It took us 1h30 to get out of the venue after the music was done at 3 am. This is horrendous. Hope that a fix will be implemented in time for New Year. *on New Year the Coat Check was a lot better & it was a lot faster when they did not use the machines
My favorite party place , all the top global DJ such as Martin , David guetta , Tiesto , Timmy , Aoki all came here , MST ask all your friends share the table upstairs , with $3-4000 per table you ll have the best view & strongest alcohol for your drunky night with hyper music & much more fun
Ok, yes, this place has spent a lot of money & effort to look like it is a fancy place. Amazing plants & lots to look at & to focus on. The problem is they didn't put that money where a nice restaurant needs to 1st. The food & service. From the bent gold plated forks, the pretentiously presented scallops that were so seasoned you couldn't taste the scallops' delicate taste, to the service that couldn't be bothered to replenish drinks or pay attention to a table of 12+. We would have bought so many more cocktails before going over to the dance club. The music in the restaurant part was so loud we didnt feel like we needed to be in the club part. Overall, it's somewhere if you want to over pay for poor service, mediocre food, but take pictures for your social media, this is the place, cluttered & crowed, But otherwise, try somewhere else & go take pictures somewhere where they don't have to try so hard. I wouldn't go back; I saw, I ate, I left. I didn't feel much like staying to dance after that experience.
Went there for a Meduza show & was pleasantly surprised. Very unique setup with multiple floors of different music styles & main floor hosting headliners. Quite well managed & servers & bouncers were respectful. & most importantly crowd was great. Highly recommend.

Every time I go there, I just remember how new city has is great. It's just a simple fun club experience. The DJs & music are amazing. This is the only thing I ask from a club.
