I went there for the New Year's Eve event, & they clearly oversold it. The place was extremely crowded - I couldn't move or even dance. People were constantly squeezing past us. I eventually started feeling claustrophobic, had a panic attack, & had to leave.
When we went to get our coats, the crowd was so intense that I couldn't even reach the coat check or breathe properly. We decided to come back the next day to pick them up.
However, when we returned, the place was closed for the next two weeks. Their opening hours here were not updated, so we went there twice only to realize they were closed.
After two weeks, I finally went back with our coat check tickets & initials. They were only able to find one of our coats. They told me they would call me about the other one - but no one ever did. I called multiple times & sent emails, & no one responded. No one even apologized for losing my coat.
What is the point of paying for coat check if they're going to lose it? How was my coat given to someone else if they didn't have the ticket for it?
One of my favourite venues for music events! The washroom stalls are nothing special, but there's a common fountain for everyone to wash their hands. It's really cool. It has 2 levels. The bottom level is like a lounge; it is not intimate. The top level is like a warehouse; high ceilings & more of space to dance. Only downside about this space is that it gets really crowded at sold out shows; this could also be because that oversell some shows. They need better crowd control.

Parfait 👯 Highly recommended for conferences, corporate events, or any night where you want something truly special. The atmosphere is fantastic - plenty of dancing, a tightrope walker, & an incredible DJ who keeps everyone on their feet.
Un must absolu.
Went to the Soul event on thursday december 18th. Beautiful ambiance & decoration but the DJs were snoozing. A dj is supposed to mix a track into a beat not play the same beat over & over again for two hours. A dj is supposed to react live to an audience otherwise it's a playlist. There was no afrohouse no house nothing it was just the same beat playing over & over again you don't need 3 djs for that. I'm sorry but the lineup were not djs.
I've supported this place & its events for a long time, but a recent incident left me injured & with a broken phone. During a group run of about 30 people, presumably an off-hours employee's unleashed dog ran into our path, knocking me down & causing significant damage.
This wasn't a minor scare - I could have easily broken a bone, suffered a concussion, or worse. Despite initially agreeing to take responsibility, the employee failed to follow through.
I urge management to ensure their staff respect city bylaws & take accountability, even outside work hours, to protect the safety of everyone in our community
Addition to owner's response: I appreciate the response & sincerely believe that you take safety seriously. Although I've never felt unsafe, as most of the people there are there to have fun & not fight, the sheer mass of people jammed into the main room has been concerning at a couple events. Balancing some level of comfort with selling enough tickets is a tough line to tread, but it's definitely gotten uncomfortably squishy in there.
It's fun when it's fun & it sucks when it's jammed with people.
Generally a good place to go but I feel like they way oversell some events.
Staff are generally pretty nice for a club. You occasionally actually get a smile from bartenders & security doesn't assault you during their check at the front door.
It's really just the people. When you jam that many people into a small space it gets miserable & people start getting annoying .. then the Chads & Brads start fights, kills the vibe, etc.
If you go there on a night that isn't sold out it should be a good time. Otherwise consider VIP to be able to breathe.

Went to see Adventure Club & also the New Year Markus Schulz show. The venue is cool, the sound is decent, the staff was all professional. A few notes: Some of the bartenders do not know English well, I ordered a Gin Soda, & was given a Grey Goose Soda with lemon juice (costs $3 more than what I wanted). Not a big deal, but it was annoying. The New Years event was extremely crowded, you could not move at all, packed full of people, it would have been better if there was less people. Giving it 4/5 cause the overcrowded New Years event was disappointing, otherwise the Adventure Club event was a 5/5.
Honestly, great venue, terrible staff- super rude. Depending on the Dj depends on the crowd. I've had a great night here & I've walked out the door after one drink. Proceed with caution on the event. But a beautiful space!
