At Muru Crêpe, the cozy Totoro and Studio Ghibli themed cafe in Old Montreal draws visitors with a wide menu of sweet and savory crepes, tasty drinks, and eye catching latte art. Crepes like the creme brulee variety are repeatedly praised for light texture and rich flavor, while the matcha and hojicha lattes are popular and the whimsical decor and friendly service add to the experience, though space is small, seating is limited, and some guests note higher prices and occasional slower service during peak times.
Amazing food, friendly staff & nice atmosphere. It's a little expensive, & we had ro wait in line for like 20-30 minutes but I would say it was worth it.
Washrooms were a little dirty & just so you all know they add 15% gratuity for 5 or more.
It's most suited for 2-3 people. It's a very small cafe.
Parking: park at stationmaster parking, it's just 2 minutes away.

This place was a happy accident to find the last night of our trip we made a special trip for our last breakfast in Montreal it did not disappoint real fun place if you're a fan of the movie as we were
Un café ghibli on adore ! Le premier jour que j'étais venu c'était malheureusement fermé mais je suis revenu & j'ai adoré ! En plus sur le theme ghibli
Wow, what a gem! We stopped in for breakfast while visiting the Old Port & it was honestly one of the highlights of our weekend. The service was outstanding - super personal, friendly, & so attentive, it really made us feel welcome. The crêpes were next-level delicious (the crème brûlée one was out of this world!). The coffees were perfect, & our kids were over the moon with their hot chocolates. I also tried the avocado toast with bacon & loved it - such a great combo. If you're looking for a cozy, delicious spot to start your day in Montreal, this place is a must. We'll definitely be back!
The location worried me a bit as something this touristy may be below average but it was actually really good, matcha was decent, coffee was good. the crème brûlée crepe is kind of expensive but it tastes insane, yummy flavorful crepe, filled with a fresh banana pudding & a perfectly seared brûlée top. Really reccomend!
Cute place very close to the port of Montreal. Ghibli themed. Nothing special about the food or drinks but prices are way inflated. Small portions for big bucks. We got 1 crepe & 3 drinks & spent $45 with tip included. The drinks were served in small glasses with lots of ice. The service was good though.
As a matcha lover, I would not recommend the matcha latte. The flavor does not taste like authentic matcha, but more like a green tea blend you can easily find elsewhere. The star is for the latte art & atmosphere.
Stayed at a hotel 5 mins away (fate??) & obviously dragged my boyfriend here. The latte art was even cuter in person, the portions were huge, & the whole place felt like a warm hug.
it's a fun experience with good food, the atmosphere is nice & the employees are really really really nice! overall a great experience if you like good vibes!
