When it tastes like home it's a winner!!
I usually compare the tortilla de patatas with mine, & it did not disappoint! It was as good as mine 😉 ☺?
Since I came back from Spain last year I've been yearning for Callos (tripe stew) & O...... M........ G..... It was amazing, as good as the one I had in Barcena Mayor 😍 😍 😍 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰 definitely coming back for that!!
This was so authentic I felt like I was back in Valencia, Spain. You gotta eat here....yes, the show should visit this restaurant too.
The food was good but for the costs it was way too expensive. As someone who has lived in Spain & who has had a lot of paella, the portions are too expensive for what it is.
The staff were very friendly & attentive. My water glass was always full. They even made a recommendation for an app that was absolutely delicious. Having had paella in Spain it was not what I expected. It was not bad just not your typically flavor for a paella.
Incredible Spanish cuisine that truly transported us back to Spain! The paellas were absolutely phenomenal-rich, flavorful, & perfectly cooked, just like the ones we had in Barcelona. Every dish was a celebration of authentic Spanish flavors. A must-visit for anyone craving a true taste of Spain & their Paellas.
Note that The paellas are made fresh to order so do expect a 30 minute wait from the time you place order until food arrives.
Very amazing food! I haven't had food like since since I lived in Spain 7 years ago but it brought me right back. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
I wasn't sure whether to leave a review, but I've decided to be honest. This is a small restaurant with friendly service, which I do appreciate. That said, the food really let it down. The bruschetta was the only thing I enjoyed. The paella was frankly terrible - the rice was way too salty & completely bland otherwise. It was disappointing, especially since I'd just come back from Spain & was craving a proper paella. The dish looked nice, but the flavour just wasn't there.
The food is really really delicious; the service topped even more. The serveur we had was knowledgeable on the menu & knows how to sell as well as how traditional dishes at served & eaten in Spain, especially in Valencia. Great atmosphere & very welcoming, highly recommended!
This has been the best paella experience outside Spain. Also the bread with tomatoes. They have special bread baked for this & it is amazing. We felt like in Spain ; the food was awesome also the hospitality of Elena who served us with passion. It is the first time but not the last time. It was so kind of the owner/chef Mariano to come to our table & inquire about our experience. He is so passionate about his job. Great to have businessmen like this. Thank you! 👏🧿
Excellent!!! best place in town, the food is delicious the service, everything... you will feel like in Spain
If you want to taste the real Spanish paella 🥘, this is the place to go. The best paella in Canada, period. If this restaurant were located in Spain , probably it would be one of the best paella restaurants, if not the best. A must try.
This place brought my friend & I back to Spain. Friendly staff, casual setting with a focus on the food. We ordered cod bunuelos, gaspacho & two paellas, black squid ink & seafood. Flavours are rich & authentic. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!
I travel to Montreal frequently & had been trying to coordinate a visit since I found out about Montreal Paella. Yesterday I got the opportunity to visit & it did not disappoint. I was greeted immediately after walking in. My order was taken quickly by a wonderful young lady from Zaragoza & with whom I had a wonderful short chat about Spain. I ordered patatas bravas, paella Valenciana with chicken & rabbit & a glass of sangria. Everything was delicious. I will definitely be back to try some more of the menu items.
This place was amazing! It showcased true authentic flavors from the Valencia region of Spain. They specialize in a variety of individual or family style Paellas while offering numerous tapas & small plates. Owner/Chef Marianio Fernandez & his wife Tamera have created a real masterpiece together. The food, ambiance, service, & decor is a real dream come true. This culinary gem is located in the heart of the Saint- Laurent area of Montreal. An absolute must see if you are in the city.
I've been going for years & it feels like I'm back in Spain every time ! Strat with a classic Tinto de Verano, & share delicious patatas bravas, while waiting for authentic Spanish Paella 🥘 (personal favorite the black rice one 🤤) ... For a slice of Spanish gastronomy go to Montreal Paella! This family will take care of you 💕
Best paella! We were impressed. Also shrimp appetizer was amazing. Reminded me of trip to Spain. Everyone was really friendly. We'll be back!
Such a wonderful culinary experience! All the flavors made me remember my last visit to Spain. If you want to experience authentic Spanish food, don't miss this place. Highly recommended!
Excellent food, just like in Spain. I ate Alubias & flan for dessert, also embutidos, everything was wonderful.
Really nice place to eat Paella o whatever you want from Spain. Services are great, so friendly place. Music & ambiance are amazing. Highly recommended!!!
