Momiji par OTTO earns strong praise for exceptionally fresh fish, creative sushi, and beautiful presentation, with the Momiji box tasting experience and signature items like foie gras maki, duck tataki, and standout sashimi frequently highlighted, and the ambiance and attentive service adding to the appeal; while several visits note that prices are high and a few dishes or aspects may not fully justify the cost, the overall impression is of a refined Japanese fusion experience with quality ingredients, inventive plates, and a lively yet intimate dining space that makes many guests eager to return.
I went to Momoji by Otto for dinner on a Sunday at 7pm & we were surprisingly the only table there. The ambiance & decor were really nice-definitely a highlight of the experience.
As for the food, it was okay but nothing particularly memorable, especially for the price. The beef carpaccio was quite bland & overloaded with cheese, which threw off the balance of the dish. It lacked flavor overall. The crudo was decent, & the cod cheek stood out as the best item I tried-flavorful & well-executed.
The tasting box felt overhyped & underdelivered. The makis were just okay & didn't stand out in any way. Cocktails were also on the expensive side & not that impressive.
Overall, while the atmosphere was nice, the food & drinks didn't justify the price.
Very small portions & overpriced! They didn't have enough menus, they took away ours before we were done. Service was mediocre.
Sushi pizza is ok, the Box is not filling enough & 75$!!!!!!!! We went home & had a snack.

The space itself is beautiful & thoughtfully designed, striking a perfect balance between elegance & warmth.
We couldn't resist trying the Momiji Box-a tasting of nine chef creations-& it absolutely lived up to the hype. Each bite felt fresh, precise, & carefully crafted, showcasing both creativity & respect for ingredients. The A5 Wagyu was impossibly tender & truly melts in your mouth. We also sampled the Temaki (which were divided among us with precision) & were surprised by the generous amount packed into them.
The drinks were just as refined-we tried the Matcha Breeze, & it was delightful, both balanced & refreshing.
The experience goes far beyond the plate.
We also loved noticing the finer design choices: lighting diffusers typically used in photography & speakers aimed directly at sound-absorbing panels. It's clear that someone thoughtfully considered how the space would feel, sound, & photograph, & that attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable
Momiji is a mind blowing Japanese restaurant. Their sushi is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, & honestly one of the highlights of the whole experience. The foie gras x truffle maki is mouthwatering. If you want something fun & unique, the Momiji box is a must. It is a tasty curated selection of the chef's creations that lets you taste a bit of everything. They also offer Kushi & delicious Mazemen 🍱
The drink menu is another mind blowing experience. They have cocktails, sake, & a great wine list that pair nicely with the dishes🍸
Food was great. The momiji box is a must try - very fun. We got the beef carpaccio & suzuki crudo & both were a hit. Cocktails were a bit underwhelming. Need to invest in better chairs & bar stools.
New restaurant in the royalmount complex; Sister restaurant to the otto bar, so expectations were high in terms of food. Momiji did not disappoint. The freshness of the fish was on point. Presentation of the food was beautiful. Honorable mention to the foie gras skewer & the momiji box. The space was beautifully decorated. The service was a little slow for a thursday lunch , but all in all I would recommend this place for a date night.
Excellent food, but the service was a bit lacking.
The ebi Bao are delicious, tasty, good mix of flavors, the duck tataki with the foie gras again was well done, the momiji tasting box had lots of neat different options, but where the evening & experience was a miss was with the service.
We asked what would pair well with our order & our first waiter hesitated, briefly mentioned a Chardonnay & said we could try a few & decide on which bottle we would order.
He ran off & was replaced by another colleague who appeared with the Chardonnay (which Chardonnay? That remains a mystery, the name never mentioned, the label facing the palm of her hand...) we got to taste it & it was good, & as soon as I mentioned it she poured two glasses before I could finish saying we'll take a bottle & she dashed off.
I guess it'll be a glass... We start eating, the bao & box promptly arrive but the duck was missing. We got an appetizer & a main & missing an appetizer...
We enjoy our glass of mystery Chardonnay & we ask for the cocktail menu, we get the duck, which we enjoy (great sauce!) but the cocktail menu only appeared after we ate the duck & finished half the momiji box.
We never got to order a cocktail, our waiter that became a waitress never showed up again & a third waiter or host or manager showed up, I asked for the bill & we left.
The cocktails look great, but we never got to sample them.
Great food, mediocre service. I got better service at the food court of the royalmount & at the Sammi dumpling even when they are in the middle of a rush.
Momi box magic: a colorful parade of the chef's latest creations. Every little bowl hides a new flavor surprise. A tasting experience as playful as it is delicious. 😊
We tried the momiji box, the duck with foie gras sauce, the tuna truffle pizza & the black cod mazemen. Everything was delicious & tasted great. The presentation was nice as well. The prices are a little steep, especially for the momiji box, but it was an enjoyable experience.
Great restaurant. Such a lovely & cozy decor. This place gets full quite fast so I recommend reserving ahead. As soon as we arrived, we were nicely greeted. The waiter was friendly & helpful. They serve the soysauce in a bottle with a dropper which I found very original. We tried the A5 wagyu brochette. It was small but delicious. It melted in my mouth. We tried the Momiji box. It didn't disappoint. The blend of flavours were perfect. We also had the Hotate maki. It tasted incredible. This is a pricey restaurant but what a great experience!

We liked every dish but didn't like the price(°?°). I guess it's a Royalmount price
The Momiji box was beautiful & delicious. Hotate maki was really enjoyable with a combination of kimchi & strawberry sauce. The dessert was fantastic as well
Would be great if the bathroom has a hook for bag or jacket
