Excellent lunch experience.
We loved everything we had. Grilled shrimp, shrimp cocktail, organic salmon, rib steak, French fries, Mille feuille & Sunday.
Our waiter Danny gave us exceptional service. Very attentive & great advice.
Highly recommended.
Excellent service, food, & atmosphere. We enjoyed the Tomahawk, which was very tasty, along with the lobster mac & cheese, a must-try! The Caesar salad was also delicious.

Now situated downtown, I heard fantastic things about Moishes but never had the opportunity to pass by. I went for lunch today & was blown away by the professionalism & efficiency of the staff, as well as the excellent food.
I heard they have some of the best cuts in Montreal & I can confirm: I've eaten wagyu in multiple cities across the world, including Kobe beef from Japan, & I can confirm that Moishes not only has excellent beef, but they're also cooked to perfection.
A must go to restaurant in Montreal & I'll be sure to return to try the other cuts of beef.
Food:
Moishes was an excellent overall experience, even with one small food-related miss. The steak had great flavor, a deep char, & that classic steakhouse richness you want, but it was not trimmed as cleanly as it should have been. There was a piece of silver skin along the side that I had to cut away, which kept the steak itself from being perfect. That said, the rest of the meal really delivered. The escargot was one of the standouts for me: rich, garlicky, buttery, & exactly the kind of dish that makes you want extra bread on the table. The bread was also excellent, warm & satisfying with the butter. The fries were crisp & generous, & the Chocolate Explosion was insanely good. Rich, smooth, & a perfect finish to the meal.
Service:
Service was polished & professional. The meal felt smooth from start to finish & had the kind of pacing you want from a classic steakhouse.
Summary:
Overall, still a 5/5 experience. The steak could have been butchered a little cleaner, but the flavor, service, escargot, bread, & dessert made the meal feel special.
Ordinary. You will not be moved. Service in a steakhouse should be up to par. Gabriela was simply ok. Nothing more
One of the best steaks I've ever had! We keep coming back because the quality is always excellent & the steak is cooked perfectly every time. The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly, & the atmosphere is welcoming. If you're a steak lover, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
