I love my steak...best one I've ever had. Cooked to perfection!

La quailté de la nourriture est incomparable, tout simplement excellente. L'ambiance est très bien si ce n,est que de belles nappes blanches rehausseraient l'ambiance.
Le service est excellent avec le seul commentaire suivant. Il semble y avoir une inconsistance quant à la présentation des plats. Auparavant quant je commande un rib steak avec des épices Montréal celles-ci étaient toujours appliquées lors de la cuisson. À notre grande surprise, hier les mêmes épices sont venues dans un petit bol à côté. L'autre fois l'ail venait également dans un petit bol à côté. Mais, cette fois-ci, la serveuse nous dit que l'ail est appliqué sur le rib steak lors de la cuisson. C'est à s'y perdre.... À part cela, c'est une expérience culinaire à répéter :)

My guests & I all enjoyed the food & service. I liked that the paid respect to there past & created an enjoyable atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal.
My hot take is that Moishes is better than Peter Lugers! In a symphony of flavors & aesthetics, Montreal's venerable steakhouse has made a triumphant return. The metamorphosis of the menu has elevated the dining experience to new heights. The "Creamed Spinach" & "Moishes Fried Onions" are a must! Yet, amidst this culinary crescendo, a minor note of discord emerges in the form of the service. Regrettably, the departure of the seasoned, elder staff has left a void. While the new generation of servers is courteous, there's a certain charisma & wisdom that can only be conveyed by individuals whose life experiences mirror the pages of history.

Everything was great! The food was fantastic, the service by Maria was warm, kind, & impeccable. The overall vibe was amazing. A nice memory was created for my daughter's birthday. Thank you very much, we look forward to returning!

Fantastic experience. Like the old days but great new location

Although we had an excellent evening, I would like to leave a hopefully constructive comment: Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my reservation on 28th & rebooked on 29th for which I got confirmation. However , when we arrived, your system indicated "cancelled " & there was no seating available. This caused an inconvenient moment for a while but in the end one of your staff handled professionally & we got a seating & we had an enjoyable time.

My spouse ordered her steak rare & it arrived medium rare. The waiter offered to take it back but we declined. Everything else was so fine. We'll be back!

Terrible service , our waiter took the order of a table after us & brought their appetizer & food before ours. I didn't like one of my apps & told him but he didn't care, my steak was missing the lobster tail & had to ask him for it, he disappeared for a long time & we had to ask the table cleaner twice to go get him for the bill. Terrible service.
My wife's steak was not cooked to her specifications but it was fine & the Pino noir wine was flat, seemed like the bottle was left open for a long time.
0/10 experience with over $500 spent .

I was very impressed with the actual restaurant. Beautiful decor.
Quite surprised & disappointed regarding the service. Our server was very nice & knowledgeable, but I expected more in terms of service. We had to consistently request more water, taking the order was very slow, & we overall were not offered anything more than what we asked for. I have eaten at all of the high end steakhouses in the city & found that this was very much lacking. I really wanted to live my experience, but unfortunately this was not the case.

La nourriture était vraiment très délicieuse! 10/10. Le goût était vraiment là. Nous avons vraiment aimé notre expérience à votre restaurant, mais il y a seulement une seule chose qui nous a dérangé: notre serveur. Son attitude & la façon dont il répondait à nos demandes nous a vraiment dérangé. Il était vraiment désagréable. Notre expérience à votre restaurant aurait été parfaite si votre serveur n'avait pas agit de cette façon. C'est vraiment dommage!

Without Prejudice & in an honest effort to making this place feel as much like the original Moishes as possible:
Honestly guys - the meal was great, steaks cooked perfectly, good temp.. - perfect ambiance & atmosphere. The decor, the chairs, the lighting, the music.. everything was nice.
The complaints:
1.No hot towels before the meal.
2.Serving cole slaw, pickles & bread in that "bucket" & not placing the individual bowls & ramekins is a mistake. Make your wait staff go the extra step.
3.Desserts, at the price they're at, not thrilling. The cheesecake felt like it was straight out of the freezer & the Paris Brest was the worst i've ever had. Old cream & old pate a choux..
Upon leaving: your valet staff was practically reprimanding me for not text 10 minutes before I needed my car back. They did not have correct change forcing me to give a bigger tip than I wanted to. The environment in that front entrance is almost intimidating & not welcoming. Your hostesses/coat check people were nice, but that whole front entrance does not set a good tone when entering & leaving - these people should be on point, no matter what time of the year it is.
& that's that - Very nice first experience - we will be back!!

Cette soirée a été des plus décevantes. On y invitait des amis pour qui c'était leur première fois & franchement ça été vraiment ordinaire au niveau du service.

I have no clue why you seated us close to bathroom & waiter's stand when I had requested a quiet corner. There was more traffic around our table than 5th avenue in NY at rush hour.
Loved talking with David the manager who was very attentive.
