I messed up our reservation & showed up two days early. The man at the front was extremely accomodating, allowing us a table in the following half hour even though the restaurant was quite full, & even gave us free drinks when the table took a bit longer to be ready. They did not have any obligation to serve us since i am the one who didnt reserve correctly, but they were so nice about it & it was all resolved with minimal friction. Shout out to our server, Hugo, who was having a great time & joking with us! The highlight of the night. Food was excellent, highly recommend the crab cake entrée & beef tartare. 18oz Filet mignon was to die for. Crème brûlée was light & perfect. Overall, a great night!
Rib steak, a delicious, very generous piece of art. The problem? 90 something bucks & did not come with a single vegetable on the side. Have to order extra sides at around 15 bucks a portion.

Moishes is one of our go-to's when we want something extra special. Our recent visit was as expected. Great service,a delightful Caesar salad starter, steak cooked to perfection, delicious fries, pickles & coleslaw. The wine suggestion from the waitress was a perfect addition to the fabulous dinner! We had a lovely meal. Thank you.
Nourriture délectable & cuisson parfaite, personnel à l'affût, ambiance feutrée agréable, place à la discussion. Une place de choix pour célébrer des accomplissements d'affaires!
I haven't been to Moishes since they were at their old location, & they are still outstanding in all categories. Their level of service is legendary, as how the host welcomes you into the restaurant & how your servers are ready to help in every way possible with the menu-refilling your water at every chance. Every dish of food is delicious. We started with the Rockefeller oysters & beef tartare. We both had the filet mignon for our mains & asparagus & Monte Carlo potatoes as sides. We had two nonalcohols, which were surprisingly like sour candy. My partner didn't want to pick up a dessert that night, but I will have to take them back to try many of the superb options Moishes offer. We were celebrating our 11th anniversary, & Moishes made it a special one. We are looking forward to making many more beautiful memories there in the coming future.
What a wonderful & delicious experience we had at this famous Montreal classic restaurant "Moishes" since 1936 Our dynamic waiter Danny C was a sweetheart with his jovial spirit & great sensé of humour. Thank you Danny 😄...we had an Amazing Time. Our favorite dishes were thé cole slaw, cauliflower steak & those Fabulous millefeuilles...mmmmmmmmm!

We recently had the pleasure of dining here & I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! As a family with young children, it can be challenging to find a restaurant that caters to both adults & kids, but this steakhouse exceeded our expectations in every way. Best pickles & coleslaw
De passage à Montréal afin de fêter un Anniversaire nous avons pris plaisir à nous restaurer au Moishes, très bonne ambiance, service de qualité, restauration (un délice pour le saumon , pomme de terre Monte Carlo & son burger) Un merci à ÉLISABETH notre hôtesse d'accueil, nous l'avons trouvé "Dudi" comme on dit chez nous..une petite fée "Lizig" Des Bretons en vadrouille Dalc'hit ho Krog tr😀 Kenavo

Beautiful place , when we arrive the host in the entrance so polite very mindful ,but the server was not very nice a little bit rude ,but one of the best steak & french fries !!! Overall I recommended
Very good experience. The food was excellent. But what was really extraordinary was the way our waiter & sommelier handled the issue with our bottle of wine. We tasted some cork. Immediately the same, second bottle was brought out. Tasted by the sommelier who told us it also had cork. He then recommended an alternative which was really excellent. Top performance by both gentlemen. We are impressed & will return again next time we are in town.
This is a very interesting restaurant. My wife & I went here twice when visiting Montreal. The steaks are great & the side dishes are also super tasty. Unfortunately, the second time we went here, the beef tartare tasted completely different: it was suddenly super spicy. This was two day after visiting for the first time, so this points towards a lack of consistency & quality control in the kitchen. Also, on our second visit, I ordered the Kansas Strip. I talked with the waiter about it before ordering & when it appeared, I was dismayed to see that it had a big bone in it. However, when it comes to drinks, the people working here are top notch! I had a great conversation with Max about a White Russian - a fairly boring drink, unless you take steps to elevate it. Max created a beautiful White Russian for me & this made a perfect end to my visit in Montreal.
Had a great afternoon lunch with my wife on the patio today. Great service & food. So glad to have had the opportunity after a less enjoyable experience on my last trip to the city. Thanks.
