I chose the Moishes for my birthday dinner & I had an amazing experience there! The food was great & the waiters were top notch!

Excellent service, the space is beautiful, however quite expensive & some of the entree portions are very small, i wouldnt say the steaks are far off from the Keg's & it is around 30% more expensive at Moishes.
Non mais sérieux ça faisais vraiment longtemps que je n'avais pas eu un service aussi exceptionnel que celui que j'ai reçu ce soir. Nous étions 5 & nous avons tous vraiment adorés. Je mange au resto 2-3 fois semaines & vous m'avez sincerement impressionné. Bravo à toute votre équipe & en particulier a Alain notre serveur qui s'est occupé de nous & qui à rendu notre experience parfaite❤?

I celebrated a BIG birthday at Moishe's yesterday. 23MAR25. I had made the reservation 5 weeks earlier. It was a Sunday. After our drink order was taken it was downhill from there. No one ever came back to take our order & so I flagged down someone who I think was a manager, who happily took our order. Although there were many mistakes as he didn't write it down. It took an inordinate amount of time & it was fairly quiet on a Sunday night. The steak was fantastic, apart from that there not much that I can say that is positive. Here are a few of the issues. My wife had to flag down someone for another glass of wine, they were slow on re-filling empty water glasses, the Caesar slaps had no beef bacon bits because we were not asked if we wanted any (it's on the menu for an extra $9), & they brought the wrong shrimp dish. We were never sure who are server was. Someone came by & said Bon Appetite just as we're finishing our meal. Months ago Management STUPIDLY shared a screen shot of how they had me categorized. REGULAR & DIFFICULT. How insulting for someone who has frequented the restaurant over 6 times. My wife hit the nail on the head. INCONSISTENT SERVICE. They managed to screw up my birthday dinner last year too. As my cousin said. Time tor try a NEW STEAK restaurant. I don't now if they were understaffed or had too many walk ins. But there is NO excuse for POOR service & what is supposedly a quality restaurant. It should be consistent whatever day you are a guest there. Perhaps they are living off their Legacy. Comping me the shrimp since they brought the wrong ones, fries, pepper or sauce & wine does NOT make up for making a special occasion less the special. Cost is NOT the issue. I will say that the manger who we did speak too, Jordan, agreed that we had poor service. We eat out every Saturday save special occasions on other days. This was one of the worst experiences. If you want a MEMORABLE MEAL, skip it. Bad SERVICE detracts from everything.
Food & service was absolutely incredible as always. I always look forward to a visit to Moishes. Our party tried the escargot & waygu for the first time this trip & both dishes were the best we've ever experienced! Cannot wait to return again soon.

Went to Moishes for the first time & I've to got to say, wish I've been there sooner. I was there for my wedding anniversary dinner & the service was impeccable including the atmosphere.
Started with grilled shrimps & arugula salad to start, both were excellent. Shrimps were cooked to perfection with a perfect balance of acidity & flavor. Salad was light & flavorful as well.
Wife ordered the rack of lambs & I ordered the rib steak. The steak was a bit undercooked for my liking so had them cook it again for just a bit & came out great. The portions are very generous as for the price you're paying.
Although the starter & mains were great, you MUST try the Mille-feuille for dessert. I'd have to say one of the best in town or the best I've ever had. Again, the desserts are quite large as well.
I would definitely go back.

Resto vraiment super nourriture excellente ambiance chaleureuse tout etait parfait! Un petit point special pour notre serveuse Thalie je crois au bar , une vraie perle !!! Nous avons passé une excellente soirée!!!
Moishes is a top-tier steakhouse that truly delivers on quality & experience. From the warm, inviting ambiance to the impeccable service, everything feels refined yet welcoming. The menu offers a great selection, with perfectly cooked steaks that are rich, flavorful, & expertly charred. The sides, like creamy mashed potatoes & sautéed mushrooms, complement the dishes beautifully. The starters, including fresh coleslaw & warm bread, set the tone for an excellent meal. Pair it with a great wine, & you're in for a memorable dining experience. A must-visit for any steak lover in Montreal!
Fantastic service, delicious food - overall great! Our server Dan was excellent! We were a group of four - we shared the mixed grill & added extra sides (Monte Carlo potatoes). Dessert was cheesecake & pistachio ice cream - both were great.
